@@theslash9210 I don't hink football has become boring, it's till enjoyable to watch teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona or FC Liverpool dominating. What I dislike is said dominance. Every top team has a squad that conists of two whole teams which leaves the small teams with barely any good players. And if they manage to raise good players they will be immedeatly signed by top clubs before they even hit 22 of age. So yes, it's all about the money, money pretty much decides how successfull a team is. Remember when Players like Morientes, Salihamidzic or Gudjohnson were regulars in top teams? Nowadays they would barely be second squad. Back then teams like Leverkusen were able to keep top players like Bernd Schneider until they retired, same with AS Roma and Franseco Totti. That would be inconceivable in modern football. Now we have consecutive champions in every leage. Spain only has Real Madrid and FC Barcelona who can compete, Germany is dominated by Bayern Munich and Italy is all about Juventus Turin since these teams have the most money and therefore the best squads.
But who is to blame for this development? Well, I would argue it's the clubs. Sure, the players could just stay loyal to their clubs but think about it. What kind of 18, 19 or 20 years old Player is mature enough to think outside the box. It's not just football, nowaday people are solely judged by their income. Clubs should not be surprised if Players disrespect their coach, their team and the history of the club if they try to win them over with millions of Euro. Of course that will get to their head. They pretty much suggest that young players at the age of 19 who only played a single good season are so irreplacable that they would spend humongous sums on them. Dortmund and Barcelona are prime examples of this. Barcelona basically told Dembele to screw Dortmund and do anything he can to terminate his contract so that they could sign him with an unfathomable salary. Just think what kind of impact it has on a young players mind when two such big clubs literally fight over you. Of course he will become arrogant. And the most stupid thing about this is that Barcelona is now shocked about Dembele giving them the same treatment. Same story with Neymar. Football needs to get back to it's roots but for that to happen club investors need to be isolated from decision making.

I believe he is the best striker of all time. He didn’t need much space nor time to execute after receiving the ball, extraordinary ability to score from any angle in any position. Using both legs, chilenas, head, he was a true killer, I am 48 and I would watch him every weekend when he was playing for Real Madrid, it was really exciting to watch because he would score in 8 out of the 10 aprox, Mexican legend with a huge ego too 🤣🤣 well, people like him are special and most of the time they Come with that in the package

Now this was a player that had an eye for a spectacular. I saw Hugo Sanchez during his prime and I would say he was one of my all time favorite players, scored some of the most memorable goals I have seen in my lifetime.

I agree with some of the comments which state that if he was Caucasian or European he would be considered the greatest pure scorer. Some of the bicycle from outside the penalty box most players wouldn’t even attempt them. Hugo Sánchez Márquez (Ciudad de México, México, 11 de julio de 1958), es un exfutbolista y entrenador de fútbol mexicano. En el año 2000 fue declarado por la IFFHS como el mejor futbolista del siglo XX en CONCACAF y el número 26 del mundo.
Fue goleador y figura del Real Madrid Club de Fútbol en la década de 1980, club en el cuál destacaron sus diez títulos conseguidos, cuatro trofeos pichichi, una bota de oro, y dos premios don balón. También fue declarado por la IFFHS como el mejor futbolista mexicano del siglo XX. Catalogado como uno de los mejores deportistas mexicanos de la historia y el mejor futbolista mexicano de todos los tiempos. Con 516 anotaciones en 883 encuentros oficiales, es el futbolista mexicano con más goles en partidos oficiales de la historia. Celebraba sus numerosos goles dando una peculiar voltereta, la cual hacía en homenaje a su hermana gimnasta.
Debido a sus goles, logros y trayectoria, fue incluido por la FIFA en el salón de la fama del fútbol en el año 2011.

No me vengas a decir que un jugador que lo máximo que logró fue jugar en el Cádiz va a ser mejor que el 3er máximo goleador extranjero de la historia de la Liga Española, pentapichichi, ganador de la Bota de oro y pentacampeon de Liga con el Real Madrid.

This guy was a Master Craftsman and had a long career at Los Blancos not by chance..And it's an shame because for many yrs Mexico often play well,but fail to score or score enough&,how they need a recognized Centre forward! .And Hugo Sanchez was pure class!
