      I have just tried chickpea coffee ☕️ 🙏🙏🙏💕( roasted , grinded to powder and made my very first chickpea coffee as copycat of your method in your video by using Turkish coffee pot. I drink barley tea often after dinner. I would also recommend oat bran tea( store bought then toasted to dark color to release aroma, then add hot water ☕️ )it’s also full of goodies and yummy too 😋

    Love this video! First learned about using dandelion root and chicory root for fake coffee alternatives after getting a fake coffee tea from one of the local cafes near me. Love getting my own ingredients to mimic the experience with that tea and mixing them together in a warm drink for the evening along with a sweetener and some cocoa powder (it's great for having something that tastes like coffee in the evening, but without the dehydration that decaf coffee would give). Calming reishi mushrooms are also great optional additions! ^^

      @@positivepranic chicory coffee is awesome made it using french press, it turned out super good with almond and cashew milks. Now fig coffee has been tough to get to be strong/flavorful. The one you linked to on Amazon says use 1/2-1 tsp with 1 cup of water. I used french press and let it steep for 5-7 minutes yet I get a diluted taste , kinda watery. Can you share your measurements and process for a good fig coffee, please. Again awesome video.

      A little update. So made fig coffee in a way that it turned out strong and flavorful. Here is how I did it: 2 teaspoons of fig coffee in a french press. Add 1 cup of hot water. Let it steep for 7 minutes. Then warm up half a cup of almond milk or cashew milk (done as shown @positivepranic) . And add half a cup of fig coffee. Add a couple tea spoons of date sugar. Done. You can have it however you like with sweets or what not. Turns out flavorful and strong, no water taste! Cheers.

      @@CM-gd2cc Thank you! 🙏🏻 I should definitely make an episode about it. Have you ever tried date powder? It is basically whole dates that are dried up and then powdered. I use it a lot. Jaggery is considered to be one of the healthiest sugar (it is basically dried molasses). Raw and unfiltered honey, jaggery, and dates are my favorites, but there are more options, for sure. I should make a video. BTW, You should never cook honey or place it in boiling water. It should be consumed cold or mixed with warm water (no higher than 40°C (104°F)). 🙏🏻💞

    I'm not sure if you get any comments these days if you are in Ukraine - I just found your channel in my TH-cam feed today. There are no words for how we all feel over here in the USA about what is going on. I trust you are safe, if there.

      Thank you so much, dear for your kind words and concerns. I'm living in Florida, but most of my family is in Ukraine. My elderly parents survived under continuous bombing and shelling for a month in Kyiv before we were able to get them out. Now my parents are safe in Austria. It looks like their building is still standing, so they can’t wait to get back home, but it is still too dangerous… they definitely have PTSD but are doing pretty well. Some of my family and friends were able to leave the country some of them are still there. I’m doing what I can to help and assist.
      It is incredible to witness how the World is uniting before our eyes. I’m not talking about politicians. During this horrific time, humanity rose to an unbelievable level. I’m witnessing an incredible awareness and level of consciousness from people who are not “spiritual” but are Human beings with compassionate and whole-encompassing hearts-true Mothers and Fathers to the World.
Thank you, again 🙇🏼‍♀️🙏🏻🌺💞

    This seriously could not have came at a better time, because I have been making the switch from coffee to matcha. HOWEVER, I LOVE coffee for the taste, so I was thinking of maybe choosing a decaf. But this is an amazing tool for me to navigate this switch. Thank you so much!

    • @positivepranic

      That is great! I know that matcha is a very popular drive nowadays. But a lot of people quitting coffee because of the caffeine. There is so many information out there on how caffeine affects your body and neurological system in a negative way.
      An 8-ounce cup of matcha tea has around 70 mg of caffeine: not far from a cup of coffee, which has anywhere from 70 to 140, depending on the type of beans and how they’re brewed.
      Of course it is totally up to you. I just though this information might be helpful to you and others. 🙏🏻🌱❤️🌺

    My favorite one is South Indian filter coffee which typically has 15-20% chicory. It’s made with drip filter but compacting the powder to make the decoction as thick as possible..So that when mixed with milk, it becomes creamy and strong at the same time. Sadly it’s on the top of the -ve pranic food list. However, most of the thickness and flavor is attributed to chicory. I have not tried just chicory but now I will. As an ardent coffee fan myself, I understand the quest for the perfect substitute. Lately, I've been enjoying Kicking Horse Decaf. When I made this video a couple of years ago, it was tough finding a good organic decaf since most were chemically processed. But this one is not only organic but also tastes great - it's as close to the real coffee experience as I've found among substitutes. I have no affiliation with the brand; I'm just a fan of the product. It's a fantastic option if you're looking to reduce caffeine without losing that coffee flavor we all love!

    Great video! Packed with so much info… 🙌🏼 1. Out of all these coffee alternatives, which one of these would you say is the most healthiest? (in your opinion) 2. Which one of these is your personal favorite?

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’re all healthy and I love to alter them. As for right now I really enjoy the taste of roasted dandelion root. My body loves it. I love barley coffee for the calming qualities and the nice thick foam. Third place I would give to the fig coffee. But again that is according to what my body is asking for right now. Thank you for letting me know you liked the video, it’s important for me to know and I really appreciate it. 🙏🏻💕

    Oh wow, you gave us so many choices... the dilemma is in what order to start trying 😃 I've heard of most plants, but I didn't know that they could be prepared this way as a coffee substitute. I’m actually a tea lover but I used to be a big coffee fan, today I still can’t resist the smell of good coffee. I love, looove your little coffee cups and spoons, they're so cute 😍 would you please share where you bought them? Thanks for this video, it is a real refreshment on YT. I like your channel. Warm greetings 🙏🏼❤

    • @positivepranic
      @positivepranic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, dear. 🙏🏻 I'm glad your love my videos. 💞 As a tea-lover, you might appreciate a dandelion root coffee substitute because if not roasted, you can enjoy it steeped like a tea. When roasted, slight chocolate aroma and taste are so delightful but still light. If you like espresso with an excellent firm, thick foam, I recommend starting with a barley coffee substitute. And for a fruity, no-hassle easy-going coffee alternative, you might want to consider a Figg coffee.
      The cute coffee cups are from the country of Georgia (it was a gift), and other little spoons I collected overtime... Everything I used in the video that is available for purchase I sourced and linked to Amazon or other respectful sellers. You can check it out here, on PositivePranic.com website 👉🏻 positivepranic.com/caffeine-free-coffee-substitutes-best-coffee-alternatives-that-taste-like-coffee/
      Keep me posted 💞 I hope to hear from you again. 🙂 🙏🏻 🌱 🌺

      I tried chicory and dandelion several years ago, but I will definitely try other suggestions. As someone who adores figs, of course I'll try, just to order what I need.
      For now, I enjoy toasted maca root with a warm homemade almond milk mix in a blender to get a nice foam. The taste is very similar to cappuccino or macchiato... and of course, sweeten to taste with some favorite sweetener and spices like cinnamon, vanilla, pandan... or plane is also good enough. So delicious ☺
