- We complain about NASCAR officiating all the time, but it could be so much, imagine if we were governed the way F1 was!
Thanks so much to the incredible @DarkzyYNS for this edit, he is so talented so be sure to subscribe to him!

FIA: TRACK LIMITS 🗣️🗣️🗣️
😂😂😂
I like to see drivers trying to keep cars inside the track limits, but they definitely need to find a more natural way of reinforcing it.
To me, at least in F1 and other high tech series, they should use electronics to penalize instantly the driver. You go off the track, you lose power for a while. Let's say 5%, 10%.
It would be something to artificially mimic the effect of running wide in grass, gravel... 🤔
@@Gean...de...Oliveira this is an interesting concept!
@@Gean...de...Oliveira yeah that's seem like a good idea
@@Gean...de...Oliveirayea that sounds nice until you realize how dangerous it is.
I’d say f1 rules only works with f1, and nascar works with nascar
the f1 rules didnt work in any place
Exactly
We can never go this low not even fox.
I wouldn't be so sure of that
“Debris” cautions
1:48 THROUGH GOES BOWMAN!!!!!!!
To be fair, you only put penalties on the guys you saw. Everyone ran the track limits and a lot of banging around happened off camera
its like the last year's austrian gp, everyone violated the track limits so much that the fia couldnt process all of them
I like the detail when Kyle Busch spun, but man he choked a top 5, I didn't watch this race
Yeah he’s been bit at COTA a couple times!
His former teammate bell spun him
NASCAR racers in tracks like COTA or Watkins Glen would have 50 penalties minimum every race
Laughcar doing that would take 90% of the tactics away from the teams. Zero hitting to gain position allowed, following track limits, zero "overtime" BS. Two hour limit for event, etc.
Now do if F1 had NASCAR rules
Great idea! He'd have to make it a compliation from across many seasons. Mazepin, Latifi, Stroll as well as some past asshats like Coulthard brake checking Schumacher.
I guess the difference in broadcast would be no Investigation, no yellow flags, no time penalties, no VSC or SC. Just F1 footage of guys going bowling on track.
Let's give F1 some Nascar rules. Bump and run.
The cars would break with just a light tap 😭
Great video, though. This kinda makes me upset because I'm a Chastain fan and a Trackhouse fan
Hate the rules that FIA has
It’s not the FIA, it’s NASCAR. F1 rules are pretty much the same as IMSA, INDYCAR, WEC, DTM, Ferrari Challenge, MX5 Cup, and every other series.
In the world of Motorsport it’s nascar that’s the oddball
@@Michael-pi8psNascar owns imsa
@@alexfire53-ze7px I’m aware. That changes nothing though
I guess F1 is not for everyone😔😔
@@cristinabuendia9545 you could say the same about nascar fr
Different style of racing for a different type of car. F1 cars are deliberately extremely fast and fragile. Stock cars are built heavier and sterdier, and when the sanctioning bodies feel they're too fast, they make rules to slow them down, making full contact racing more viable.
Full contact is never racing, more like a demolition derby.
F1: this driver performed the best this season, lets give him the championship!
nascar: this driver performed the best this season, lets give the championship to the guy in 8th place!
Chastain would also get 5 penalty points
FIA when Christopher Bell spins out Kyle Busch: I sleep
FIA when the top three breath on the track limits: REAL CRAP
2014 Sonoma
2018 Charlotte Roval next?
👀
i actually love how clint commentated this
I like how there’s people in the comments that r taking it way too serious not only in part 1 but part 2 as well!
“F1 cAn kEeP iTs dUmB rUlEs! dIs iS nAsCaR!” My brother in Christ, it’s supposed to be tee hee haha pee pee poo poo funny joke.
I'm about to turn 13th and 6 days. That means a brand new face of my life is going to begin.
Happy early birthday!
Good luck
Happy early birthday
They would probably have disqualified him at the first touch
Once again, proof why NASCAR is the best. Ive tried, and I cannot get through an f1 race.
Best? Is that the cautions for commercials, or the hitting to gain position, or "overtime" to add excitement?
He said the sport was the best, not the broadcasting lmao
not a sport. fun to watch, not a sport.
What about F1 with NASCAR rules?
F1/fia would probably take video down and add a copyright calm to channel
Watch Michael mrucz's formula nascar series. If dogleg doesn't do a video on f1 with nascar rules, mrucz is the closest you'll get to seeing that
@@C9LD i watched it
They only breached track limits in 9 and 10.
If nascar had f1 graphics
If this were to be the case Mark Martin would be the winner EVERY week
Now do f1 with nascar rules
It is just the wild west over there. It’s about time that someone started handing out penalties for these Collisions and blatant disregard for track limits!
So you’re saying we should completely ruin the racing in favour of whatever the hell your point is…
@@StanTheManExtra The entire video and comment is satire lol
Granted I absolutely can not watch a Nascar race as it’s just a glorified endurance race with the very inconsistent rule enforcement where you can just wreck anyone in your way on the last lap, but I recognize people enjoy this autosport. Though if you wanna see hard and physical racing without each race before 4 hours, Rallycross is an amazing discipline to watch!

NASCAR: “hey what if we stopped the race for absolutely no reason and called it a stage caution. Let’s artificially group up the cars because our fans can’t handle the fact that not every race will have a close finish”
But it’s way more entertaining and competitive
@@DoglegMediaMattthen accept it’s no longer “sport” it’s entertainment. But I guess that’s why you guy refer to it as “the show”
@@Michael-pi8ps it’s definitely still sport. Entrainment would mean scripted. But F1 definitely seems like that with the same guy winning 19 of 22 races
You can have the discussion about stage cautions but all those other series may have 1 race a year that everyone talks about. Nascar has had 4 already in just 13 weeks
@@DoglegMediaMattthe golden state warriors went 16-1, Floyd Mayweather is 50-0, Michael Phelps won basically everything for 15 years, Dale has 7 championships within 14 years
If you’re going to be a sport. Occasionally you’re going to have someone who wins a lot.
U should do part 3 at Pocono 2023
Too soon junior
FIA if they are the officals of nascar:
Lol
this should be an obvious tell that strict rules like this dont provide good racing at all
How would they do ovals
L fia
bro he just knocked him out, dirty af
Bro he like won the race so go off 💀
😒
🔥
The FIA is corrupt and F1 is boring
to be fair though
F1 cars do just shatter if you look at them wrong
