This week on Stop & Go F1 we take a look at the longest Streaks in the history of F1
#f1 - กีฬา
Here after verstappen equalised prosts records from most poles in a row in a season starting from the firat race and sennas record for most poles in a row
HRT only competed in Formula 1 for three years, from 2010 to 2012. It's completely impossible for them to have competed in 112 races, mate.
19 + 20 + 20 races x 2 cars = 118 starts. so it seems possible
@@czechvirusS Yeah, but no F1 metric counts it like that. What matters is whether a team started a race, not how many of their cars did.
@@extremegrieferbible yes. but in this video he counts it by cars. since according to google hrt had 56 race starts. that is exactly half of 112
They competed in 56 grand prix
My head is still spinning...TMI!
this dude loves saying "again"
WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT? Fernando Alonso!
I know this video is already 2 months old but still: 6:54
This streak is still going and it is held by Nico Hülkenberg, he has entered 215 races so far and his highest race finish was 4th (he has done that 3 times)
Yeah go to 11:06 mate. The one you are mentioning is about getting a podium. Hulkenberg won't get this record you are talking about unless he gets a podium
All i want, is for hulkenberg to get a podium...
2:15, both Alain Prost and Max hold the record of consecutive poles since start season: 7.
yeah but max didn't at the time of the recording
2:37 now Max has equaled this record!
Martin Brundle also didn't spend any laps in the lead either
Never?!
No never.
@@reptongeek Mindblowing.
First streak: 3 poles without ever leading a lap for Teo Fabi
You forgot "most races participated in by a team."
Isn’t that kinda obvious

Thats not an achievement by skill or unluckiness, thats just money
5 1-2s in a row 3 seperate times is crazy, and people said max has the most dominant car please, he just makes it look dominant
max is great and is getting everything and more out of the car, but the issue in this is checo. he's the least consistent driver out there... and yeah, this year the others are closer. but they couldve done similar in 2022 or 2023.
Your channel is outstanding and you should have way more subscribers
Thank you!
It seems that all these stats are calculated by how many races took place between two specific events, whether said "record" holding team or driver participated in those races. So they are technically correct, but it doesn't paint the whole picture, nor are the stats presented in the usual standard that most are familiar with.
On one hand our hypotethical driver X has had 200 races happen between points finishes, but on the other hand he's participated in 150 races between points finishes. It's unclear sometimes which of the aforementioned stats this video is actually representing, and that - I assume - is sole point of this video is it not? To read out statistics, accurately, and inform the viewer. This isn't informative, it's ambiguous, which is the antithesis of statistics.
With peace and love, this just needs more effort and more eye on the details. I don't want to be too harsh on a smaller TH-camr putting out stuff that I really enjoy, so don't take my longish rant too much to heart. The format is good, the delivery is soothing and simple. I like it a lot.
I think the whole point is absolute records, regardless if the team or driver wasn't in F1 the entire time. If you start getting in to that level of detail you'd have to incorporate the acceleration of races per year and changes in point scoring positions and try and compare as well as going through team lineage, which defeats the point of Aston Martin had nearly 1000 races between starts, etc as a basic stat. Hence the BMW Sauber comments.
@@iangriffiths2115 if the video doesn't explicitly say "driver participated in X races between points finishes" or "there were X races held between driver's point finishes", then the viewer doesn't know which one it is. Those are two different records - obviously if a driver isn't participating, they can not score points so the long drought is inflated - and the video doesn't always make it clear which record is being read out.
I don't really understand what you mean with "absolute records", but wouldn't both I just mentioned be just as "absolute" as each other? I don't think that's some extreme level of detail the viewer can't handle, as you seem to suggest. I just think when it comes to records the wording is extremely important, because it specifies which record we're talking about.
I have no preference with one record over the other. But I need to know which one they mean without having to pause the video and look it up. I think that serves the purpose of the channel as well.
EIGHT POLES IN A ROW 🧡🧡 TEN WINS IN A ROW 🧡🧡
In 2018, Marc Marquez won the opening 10 consecutive GPs in MotoGP. Even then, the racing was still fantastic, which isn't something you could say about F1 at any point in at least the last 12 years.
Not 2014?
I wonder if there will be 1000 Race Streak other than Ferrari that might be in 2104 and my word would that be incredable
Guess none of us will ever know
If we want to consider technical details like BMW Sauber not being the same team as Sauber, then Ferrari doesn't actually have a 1000+ race streak. They entered as North American Racing Team in 1964, at both Watkins Glen and the Mexico GP.
what about my edging streak to charles leclerc
copy, we are checking
Max Verstappen has got the most poles in a row aswell now on 8 and most poles in a row from beginning of the season at 7
Most races without a WDC for a driver ofc: Barichello woth a lot
4:40 the broker curse
Most consecutive laps lead. Surprisingly, it's not Verstappen's 248 from last year. That's only third longest streak of this type, as Senna has done 264 (and also 237, taking the 4th spot as well) and Ascari wins with 305 laps.
Max 10 win streaks 2 times
@eazypeaszy4842 No, only once.
No once
Verstappen has 7 poles in the first 7 races, equaling Prost record
Fernando has so many streaks bro 😭
And may still have more if the AMR Honda partnership goes good.
19 most wins in a season hold by max
Max's bucket list ^^^
over 400 GPs for Alonso. I don't think so.
McLaren with 0 entries incredible. Shows how singular F1 has been in recent years
Max is going to break a lot of these, the ones drivers want to break at least, you'll need to redo the video in 5 years.
Who is that guy on the podium in both 2019 1-2 from Mercedes? (1:38) Wonder what he's up to nowadays.
0:00 It is? By whom?
martin brundle lmao
Should the first year count for quickest wdc win
Most races competed in a row, team...? I'm guessing Ferrari but they might of missed 1, I don't know
Nice videos and nice channel.
You deserve more subscribers. You get 1 extra with this one.
I will also promote your channel at the end of my videos.
10: the number of yours a small TH-cam Channel who makes Lego Stop Motion video's. That is a long Streak. :P
So you do not count Sauber BMW as the same team as Sauber, what i can understand.
But when you do it like that, Mercedes and AlfaRomeo are absolute different teams like in the past
stop ssaying again
No
Max has an unmatched record :
Most fake Championships
Ok pal, whatever makes you feel better
