Sir, green is used for pre-assembled fastners. The red is correct. Green has the ability to wick through threads, but not the holding security of red. Yes, I'm a Engineer. I hope this helps.

Excelent and simple repair. Paul why my clutch in my ktm exc200 2006, dont dissengage correctly when the engine is hot, the hydraulic is correct, all pieces is correct and normal, the clutch open good and all the disc are free. The friction plates have so much hours but the clutch dont slippe. Is the oil? Regards from patagónia Argentina.
Хорошее решение. Хорошая работа. Наверно больше как временное решение. Лучше таки заменить эту деталь на новую. Хотя тут явно конструктивная недоработка. 👍🤝🇷🇺
@holmes1956O why would it be an issue. Its very minimal spring pressures. These bosses only break from human error. It'll last until an idiot breaks it by reefing on it with a long handle ratchet
In my country It is called the repair for homeless person. Why do you not put four more screws in the other holes? Is the balance not count in this place?
i am sorry but this time i must disagree. broken ones cannot be simpli bolted back they are unsure. not even a drop of weld. pardon me , but owner should buy a new one. i respect all your videos and skills but this to me looks like something easyl back broken. too much dangerous for something centrifugated so much.
Bravo, finally someone thought about balancing after such a repair. I've seen many clutches repaired in this way, but never with balancing.
It was only hinted at it the video though... And I can't see anything in the holes Paul tapped opposing the repair once assembled :-/
He used set screws, some Engineers call them grub screws, watch the video again.

Your machine work is unreal!! Really enjoy watching and seeing your creations for fixing and improving parts! Thanks for these great videos!
The final balancing gives this job the PRO stamp

Cool, thank you for teaching your audience that you have to clean your parts before Loctite! Double Points 👍
Not necessarily. There's oil resistant loctite and is fairly common. You have to clean parts for the non oil resistant loctite
@@jonnoMoto 👻 bad advice. Subjective as to what "oily" means.
Correct Nick, lacquer thinner or brake clean and filtered air. Dawn dish soap and water before the air if it's truly critical.

Was only just thinking about the balance of clutch.when u produced the screws to balance the hub
Bro, do you refurbish/reconditio piston skirts? Like adding material and grinding to spec?
This made my day. Nice work.
Why don’t you use green loctite for securing? By the way you are amazing 👌🏻

I,m a real fan of your videos, and I always give positive feedback. But for this I say order a new inner clutch hub .
Esa campana al llevar esos dos tornillos va desequilibrada. Se van a notar vibraciones seguro.

It would also be better balanced.

Apparently formed teeth in the basket from use.
Would it have not been better to put countersink in them all to balance it, 👍
Yo le hubiese puesto en todos los soportes los tornillos, por el balanceo del embrague lo digo, esos embragues están balanceados.
Muy buen vídeo y trabajo como siempre 👏👏👏
How do I get in contact for a cylinder head repair?
Muito criativo seu trabalho super top dez de mais
Il faut tous les faire pour ne pas déséquilibrer la piece
Could it have a balance problem ?
Paul seems to hint at counter balancing the repair in the video, but it's only a hint.
Superb as always
Amazing repair
Might qswell do that to all 6, so its balanced, one and also so its stronger

I was hoping for your usual magic, that is the way I would have done it. 😉
I did sam few years back on yamaha clutch basket
I really thought you were gonna weld that back to spec but I guess mechanical force might do it 😂 hope it works out if it goes undone carnage 😅
I know we are never gonna see it. But I would like to see how many hour this lasts. My guess is not long

🧠👍
So, what were they doing during "disassembly" to cause the bosses to break off the hub? I'm genuinely curious.
It said in the video that they used a screwdriver to stop the Boss from rotating while undoing the main nut
@@kittenfat2207 made the same mistake my self the first time, after replacing the hub i alllllways use a proper clutch tool 😆

clutch is not ballanced,,, good idea for repair but its not professional.... inner hub costs less than 100$... good job but not succesful

Completely trash work because that clutch has unbalanced.
Just a work for show
watch the video to the end
Hmm someone did not buy the clutch holder tool.?????
