I take it that you will be doing alot of these. Because the time and material used could have went into a sine plate. But if your doing these specifically alot it's nice to have the specific fixture.
Quite an effort for a single job. I very good experience with creating fixtures for this small engine components from MDF wood. Cut it out on the CNC and glue it together. Normally can achieve 0.1` flatness, that can be leveled with a shim. As long as you work dry and gently it perfect. Cheap and fast. Sometimes I need 4 jigs, one for the glow plug, one to level the top, two for the manifolds.
I do a lot of single point threading on my lathe also. I have stopped using the traditional method of disengaging the half-nut at the end of each cut. I simply put the machine in reverse and back it up for the next cut. Much faster and less strain on the eyes!
can you make a video of engine alignment and all the parameters of the combustion chamber for the 200cc engine, the engine runs with stable and powerful power
I can’t figure out why KTM would have designed a slanted head. What’s the benefit to doing that? It seems like it’d be harder to manufacture and harder to repair? Anyway, kick ass work as always…well done sir!!! 👍
Hey Paul x I’m ask for advice about my cylinder head. I was taking my valve out and my valve spring compressor tool scarred up the sides where the buckets go and when I put the bucket in it didn’t go in very easy and now I can’t even get the bucket out with a magnet. What should I do ?
And when I put the shims in buckets in one of the bucket didn’t go in very easy, and I can’t get it out. I believe I scarred it up with a cheap china valve compressor tool
This is incredible work but I cant help but feel like you could have built a fixture that would work with 95% of heads instead of a one off for a 15 year old bike.
This channel is so good. It's got everything I like - bikes, design, machining.
Much experienced engineer of metall processing. Great work!
With this effort you could easily make a sine plate, what you could use later for anything. Great work, greetings from Hungary.
Where there is a will, there will always be a way...but only for those that can dream up ideas to get the job done right... Thumbs Up!

I think if you made a small Winfield Fixture, that it would solve many awkward head styles for a lot less effort. But great craftsmanship as always!
Nice work. Makes you wonder how KTM machined these heads!
Impeccable work of this man , This madman is not of this world , lol 😆 🤣 😂 😜
incredible engineering skills well done great job
Work of millions, congratulations and hug
Master Machinist! I love to Look & Learn! Cheers! 👊🏻👊🏻
*Akhirnya yang ditunggu-tunggu upload juga..*
Top work 👍..👋 greetings from Syria 🇸🇾

And now you have an amazing jig!!
Thank you for taking the time to do things right.
A beautiful finished job and a very well presented video.
Good day sir can i ask you about the valve seat. What kind of material du you use in valve seat. Thank you and God bless

Ease of maintenance ;-)
Isn’t it cheaper to buy new cyl head? Looks like really expensive work, brother
Muito bom, com as ferramentas certas e conhecimento tudo é possível 👍🇧🇷
Your work holding is a masterpiece 👍
Hi Paul. Just wondering how the head (combustion chamber) was repaired. TIG or something else? Thanks.
Great video.
TIG
Excelent work. I have a question, which is the reason for this damage?
worn valves
@@PaulXchannel and how i can avoid this damage?
prescribed replacement after certain engine hours - more in the technical manual of the motorcycle
@@PaulXchannel thanks for the answer. Greatings from Mexico
Como siempre muy buen trabajo, da gusto verte trabajar. saludos 👏👏👏
Where did you get that thread checking tool.
You definitely earned a like on this video 👍
Are you gona make video about the rebuild?
Beautiful work
That's a lot of preparation Pol 😲😲👍
Talented and experinced man, great work👍
How long have you been a machinist??
Sering sering dong up video nya
Bravo Paul !comme d'habitude à l'auteur !👍👍👍
Hi, where are you located? Do you repair cylinder heads?

The valve is mounted in the head ?
@@PaulXchannel yes

Try using pliers.
How much cost a new cylinder head?
I really enjoy watching your videos, I love your valve seat machine, would love to design one for the Vw heads, that I port for drag racing!1
Really nice job,you are inspiring man👏
оо новый видосик. ща будуем глядеть
I was looking forward to the new video, nice work!
Good work...congratulations
that was beautiful ...... thank you
Shitload of great work
How much does it cost to buy a new one the work you have done cost more than buying a new part

Wonderful work.
Top Job,Sir 👌

Very good !
Very well done.
9:35 - You're a monster! xD

Aqui no Brasil nunca vi. Here in Brasil, I've never seen this one on motocross tracks and enduros
Excelente trabajo. Pero creo que sale mejor comprar una nueva.

Для одной детали дорогое выходит ремонтное приспособление.
For surface you need diamond cutter
