Thank you. Very helpful. Blower worked 1-4 but not on 5, then went out completely. From what you showed it looked like the same problem. Very easy as long as you have proper tools. The hardest thing was the old style clip I ended just ripping apart. LoL. Thanks again.

Great video man going to use your vid to change mine this weekend it's funny that cord was all melted because I had just turned my air conditioning on and I started smelling like melting wires and that all of a sudden the blower wouldn't work anymore so this video made perfect sense to what I was smelling in the car before it completely broke I'll let you know how it works out

took me probably 20 minutes and the new one I got off Amazon for $24 works perfect.. and thank goodness I didn't need the wire harness that came with it because my existing one was perfect, but I think it's awesome that my new one came with the wire harness.. (even though I didn't need it) so I didn't have to do what you said which would be maybe going to a junkyard and all that crap!! 😃

Hi, great video! My parents traileblazer has stopped.working on thw 5th speed. I think this is the culpret just in beginning stages of malfunction, is that wire hsrness that goes to tbe blower motor from the resistor ziptied to the blower motor.itself? That was the only thing in your video that i have a question about, thanks! I gave you a like btw!!

    • @E4EonEbay

Sounds like the resistor is starting to fail if not working on all speeds. There are two 6mm nuts that hold the resistor into the fan motor housing, you can see at 3:10 in the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Good video, but you shouldn't need to take glove box out to get the lower panel off.
But either way clean the crap out of you glove box.
