WUTW was never quite the same when Pauly died in 2006 and when Wogan left breakfast, Radio 2 was never the same. Now Wogan's left us all, nothing will ever quite be the same again. Me too mate. If a small radio station bought any recorded stuff I'd never be out of the car. Knowing the beeb though, they probably used the tapes to tie Christmas parcels.

Anyone who can soften the blow of a 0700 Monday start in my work deserves the title 'Sir'. Terry Wogan is a an out and out legend. He'll be greatly missed.
I miss the show so much, Radio is so boring without Terry, Ken Bruce is the only one I can stand to listen to, Terry will be missed by everyone, he was a master of his art, also when they chopped Sarah Kennedy, why? she was another funny presenter, and they didn't need a side kick, you flick through the radio channels and all you hear is clap trap rubbish coming from idiots, or is it Ejeets. RIP Terry

Being the last of the "good old days" Radio 2 presenters I suspect Ken is "hanging in there" but it must be like working for a company where the old, trusty, familiar workers have retired and you're left in the middle of a new, in-your-face, talentless generation. As you say, Ken really is the only day time programme worth listening to. Chris Evans Jeremy Vine and Steve Wright are all dreadful. The only thing worse is Radio 1!. There are good presenters they could be grafting in(Richard Madely was surprisningly good) but the heirarchy don't seem interested.

Sir Terry was totally unique and still greatly missed. Now that Ken & Steve have departed Radio 2 it really is now just mediocre crap. Sorry Vernon & Scott.
