@Griffin Peter 40v mid Torque is a beast. The run times on the batteries 40v vs. 18v last a lot longer. I actually got rid of most of my 18v makita for the m18 platform. M12 I am running 3/8 stubby, 3/8 fuel high speed ratchet, new m12 driver, and I'm buying the right angle impact this week.

I was just going to say that the battery makes a difference in power. It also depends on which generation you have. I’m not sure how many generations of impact wrenches Milwaukee has put out, but older generation tools by most manufacturers weren’t as powerful as the newer ones.
I’ve used this little gun for a while now. I’ve never had issues removing lug nuts off any vehicles. Very possible the ones he tried to remove were way over torqued. The gun is rated at 250 pounds of nut busting power but easily makes near 400. Batteries also play a huge role. Either way this little gun is better for smaller things, I have the mid torque Milwaukee that gets huge lug nuts out like butter. Your buddy needs to spend on better arsenal for different sizes and jobs. I have all sizes in these impact wrenches that serve different purposes.
No, I’ve seen other videos where they torque them to spec first and then take them off with hardly any effort using the m12 3/8” stubby. Although, this one does seem staged.
I seen a video on here where he has a 6 amp battery and breaks loose a 500 pound torqued nut sure it took a bit but 500 is damn good look up the torque specs on lugs to ur car its probably only like 100 pounds

The stubby works better with the bigger batteries. Try the 2.0 or 2.5amp batteries. Although, I have taken off 90lb lug nuts with a 1.5amp battery.
