Best way to control Aphids, Spidermites, bugs: Diatomaceous Earth

Ants are friends of aphids - they bring the aphids up the plant and then stay to protect them.
When the aphid eats your plant they expel the liquid and that is food for ants.

I will try diatomaceous earth with my tomatoes for the first time this year. Last year I only sprayed them with water, so I controlled the population, but at the end, they won the battle. Only this year I remembered the magic bullet: diatomaceous earth. I will apply them to my tomatoes, including at the base to prevent them from climbing. I will post a video when I do. As I wrote in the video, diatomaceous earth is not glass, it is really just powder from rocks, so completely fine for us.

I have my pepper plants indoors and aphids are just starting to increase. The DE after several days have absolutely no effect on aphids on top of leaves. It is also hard to treat the undersides of the leaves since the DE won't stick.
