      oooooh that new zx6R sure is nice. Not a big departure from the previous model but enough that it keeps it exciting.

    If you get the plastic piece broke off in the threads when doing the step 10:27 use the screw provided to get the plastic stuck in the frame out by putting it in and unscrewing it back out

    For the cap you mentioned at 10:25, You dont have to pry it out. It can simply be unscrewed

    Great stuff. Wish I would've read the comment about the plastic cap unscrewing before I started, had to drill out the leftover plastic on the right side 😂

      @@ZACHE04 we offer a downloadable diagram on our website for those that need the reference. However, the video instruction format has been much more successful at enabling our customers to install our parts, so that is the main instructional mode we use nowadays. Great to hear you are finding it useful. Cheers!

    22:31 The left and right fairing lock near exhaust header is really tough to put back together. Any tips?

    • @AERoVALKYRiE
      @AERoVALKYRiE 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I figured it out. Simply pushing the locking area inwards towards the exhaust header, the lock goes right in, very easy.

    What is the name of the tool you use to extract the cap on the panel; the flat tool. I don’t want to cut a water bottle.

    The force applied for the M6 screws is it 8 lb-ft or 9 lb-ft ?, the diagram on the website says 9lb-ft and the vide says 8lb-ft

    I like how sleek they are. Is that enough thickness/clearance that most of the fairings are damaged?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  ปีที่แล้ว

      The result always depends on the mode of the crash. Every crash is different. We used the experience we have amassed along with engineering principles to design these components to primarily safeguard the vital parts of the bike. Saving the fairings is a secondary protection objective so that takes a back seat to protecting the more important parts.

    • @adamswaz4878
      @adamswaz4878 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In other words no these are not going to protect your fairings

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you’re careful, you can use some method of supporting the motor while trying to realign the mounting holes. We’ve used a scissor jack with a large surface area and a piece of wood on top to accomplish this.

      Should i loosen the right side mount while doing this? Ive been trying to jack up from the oil pan but it seems like the engine moved backwards

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mjayson30 you can loosen it but do not remove it fully. Additionally, try to avoid lifting from the oil pan if possible to avoid damage.

      So, there is a risk of the engine becoming misaligned even when installing the sliders one at a time?

    After installation, I noticed that my handlebars have a lot more vibration than usual. Is this normal?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This installation should not lead to more vibrations if done correctly. I advise you inspect the engine bolt connections to ensure the frame is properly clamped onto the engine. If you are uncomfortable making this assessment, or do not have the appropriate experience, please trailer the bike to a motorcycle shop to get it inspected.

      @@TSTindustries I had it installed at my mechanic. They also installed the Womet-Tech Bar Ends For Kawasaki ZX6R 2019+. Could over-torquing that also lead to extra vibrations?

    what happens if that plastic clip snaps and is stuck inside how do i get it out 😅

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  ปีที่แล้ว

      You have several options. You can get a small drill bit and drill a through hole in the remnant of the push fastener. Then use an EZ-out to carefully get it out. Another approach is to just push the remnant in but then it will remain in there. This technically does not harm anything but is the lazy punk way of doing work on a bike
