Going to say the same. It really matters because it lowers the boiling point of the fluid. If you live in a place with high humidity it's a very bad idea. It will work like this.
Nope, that's not right. It normally takes two ppl to bleed brakes. One pushes down on the pedal and holds it down, the other opens the bleed valve, then closes it. Repeat until all air is out of line. Move on to next wheel. There are ways to bleed with one person, but that's another story. What he's showing in this vid is a start, but it won't get all the air out.
Or You can add fluid to the bottle you have and don’t let the hose tip come out of the fluid in the bottle and pump them untill the container is full and you’ll for sure have gotten rid of the air at 20x the speed.
This is not how you bleed brakes by yourself. There's a reason know one has heard of the gravity method. Put some hose over the bleeder valve, usually some fish tank air line, put that hose into a cup of brake fluid and pump away. It will blow out the air and suck up fluid. Common man, I was just starting to like you.
No, do it the easy and the right way get a vacuum line that runs from the caliper to the master cylinder opener master cylinder open your bleeder hook the hose to the bleeder and then put it in the master cylinder and then pump your brakes until you feel the pedal get firm stop close the bleeder and it’s bled. It’s called force bleeding it. With that handheld vacuum you will never get the air out of your system and your brakes will not be right.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture. Don't let it sit like that, or you'll have more problems than air in your brake lines...
💯

Thank you I hate people that know a little bit, than spout out false information. that’s going to get someone hurt or worse
Goodluck with abs brakes and active braking systems.
The air in the lines wont bleed
happened to me i learned the hard way being impatient
After you open the bleeder valve, simply press the brake pedal 2-3 times, close bleeder and refill brake fluid and
Doesn't work that way
@@mikee7070 I've done it 5+ times on different cars. Biggest issue is rusted bleeders. Some cars need more pumps than others.
Won't that suck in air? Thought the whole point of pumping brakes was to do it while it's closed
@@starpreacher01not if you already have a little bit of fluid in the bottom of the container

Pump it and it won't take an hour
So 4 plus hours to bleed brakes fun times. Pump and go
Me waiting on book time for flushing brakes to be 4 hours
4 hours to bleed all brakes then 👀🙈
It’s just that easy lol
Does the car need to be level and start from the far rest and more up
That master cylinder looked really dirty. Maybe a complete flush is required.
It was sooooo effing dirty and so easily fixed... I bet the lines are in need of a complete flush... Many times
I've never imagined that Ryan Garcia will show me how to bleed my brakes...
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂

You mean to drip the oil back in the reservoir??
All you need is 3/16 tubing with a water bottle
Good luck bleading out any high spots in the lines
Who taught you this? This mechanic that charged you 90 dollars a hour to do your brakes? 😂😂
Just did brakes all around. Last owner stripped all bleeder screws. Now what
this is what not to do

😮😮😮..
Not ChrisFixx approved...😮😮...
so it takes you 4 hours just to bleed your brakes😐 And there's probably more moisture in the fluid after that...
Doesn't take a hour btw can do it in 5 mins
Almost all of this is wrong
U don't have to wait an hour just wait till it started dripping but it is important for it to be air tight with the bottle
Idk Ryan Garcia was a mechanic too lol jk
Classic!
not that easy with an rv ..
Whaaaaaaat? So many things in doing that is wrong.
🤦
I don’t have time to wait for an hour. This method is no good to me. Time is money
The gravity method DOES NOT bleed brakes. I do this to prime brake systems ONLY
