No more a physical world but a consciousness world which you are one with as pure consciousness.

It has to be clarified as - if the jnani is 'seeing' with the biological eyes as we do, then Buddha is ALSO ' seeing' what we see. Because the biological eyes are the instrument of knowledge, pRamANam both Buddha and Abuddha. If we see from the point of understanding then it will differ. The view from a botanist, physicist, quantum physicist, metaphysicist, Krishna bhakta, vishishtAdvaitin , and advaitin the 'seeing' will vary accordingly. In this the vision of the advaitin is the ultimate and hence the most accurate and real😊

According to Swami Sarvapriyananda and Michael James, after self-realization, the world continues to appear, but it is seen as an illusion or manifestation of the one reality. Enlightened individuals still experience sensory perceptions and engage in worldly activities, but they perceive everything as a manifestation of the one Brahman.
The simile of the snake and the rope is used to illustrate this. Nice discussion. Very helpful.

Sri Michael emphatically puts the stamp on what Swamiji has explained so beautifully. Thanks and Pranaams to both of them. I am reminded of Verse 2.69 of the Bhagavadgita (Yaa Nisha sarva bhutaanaam....).

When he views two paintings, does he view one more beautiful than the other?

When I requested my Guru, Ekta Bathija, to explain how she perceives the world, she replied, “It is, yet it is not. I am, yet I am not.” This is how a self-realized Gnyani sees the world. My logical mind will not be able to understand this. The truth is beyond logic.

The world remains but the vision of the Self realised transformed, jivan Mukta sees Brahman everywhere in everything. The world is not different from Brahman, its the expression of Brahman alone. There is cause and effect relationship between Brahman and world. Brahman can exist without the world but the world can not exist without Brahman.

The jnani knows the world is made up of thoughts that appear as objects to the senses. The ajnani sees the world as something apart from himself who he sees as a body. The ajnani also believes the world to be real and lasting and himself to be a temporary small incomplete entity. The jnani sees himself to be the eternal essence of the world in fact he knows the world to be the eternal essence or himself appearing away from himself as in a 3D mirror which is in fact flat like a screen.
