These videos are so great to watch. Allen is a real craftsman. He's got some real flair in the editing department too. Don't you love the sped up videos? Also, I'm so jealous of his cutting torch skills. I've used a torch in the past, but I spent more time grinding it straight than cutting. Keep up the great work.
First off man sweet build and quality work. Not trying to step on ones toes but if you have a worm drive skill saw toss a carbide metal cutting blade on it ( I get mine at harbor freight they work good if you don’t try to go to fast into a cut)save you a lot time of grinding and torching. Props on the torch skills tho.I know I wish someone would of gave me the tip a long time ago crazy how much time it saves working with plate when you don’t have a shear.
Show o Brasil te adora!!! 🇧🇷
Nice work allen, one day i will get the welder set up and make myself a bbq/smoker, but not until at least spring, too bloody cold in my workshop at the mo!!. All the best matey.
oh, wow. I watched some of your other videos on smaller pits built with plate. and I was thinking you were only making small pits out of sheets of steel. anyway nice video.
Hi Allen. Another great video from you, but wanted to see if I could help you out with your camera issues. Try doing a full fat32 format on your card. It will segregate any bad sectors in your card which is probably what’s causing your corrupted files. Keep up the amazing work sir!
Allen, LOVE all the videos and the skill you have is just amazing!!!!! i have a question though. Are all the smokers you build already sold so you can buy more supplies and make a living? Also would it be better to have a shop to do all your work in instead of outdoors where the weather can be not so good.
Hi Allen, have you ever thought about getting a plasma cutter, you are a wizard with a torch, but a plasma gives you a cleaner cut, with much less warping on thin plate, plus no need for oxygen or acetylene, just a thought. Great work as always, hope you get the new camera figured out, maybe it not the camera but the card reader that’s the problem ?
What kind of steel are you using I want to put some stacks on a uds but not sure if it's ok to use hot or cold rolled steel or what kind of steel should I be using that would be safe. Thanks...
Allen, Love your work brother! You do awesome metal working with your torch and GMAW gun. Would like to see more of your work on FaceBook or a webpage if you get one set up. You have so much footage of the making of these things I imagine you could set up a whole website with pics and prices for us to shop from and order one. BTW, who do you use for shipping your BBQ’s/Smokers to other states?
Hi Allen, thanks for posting all the great content. Is using a hexagonal shape for the cooker as opposed to a cylindrical shape better for bbq performance or is it simply style/build preference?
Evening Allen Can you turn anyone of your BBQ’s or smokers into an oven ??? We bake breads and rolls in the woods And is it possible Thanks Edward martin
The muscle memory with the torch cuts is second to none!

Allen, your work is amazing! Do you only sell locally?
No, I've had people from every state drive here for smokers, I've shipped several but its expensive
Is it stainless mesh your using for the actual grills ?

tu + sub. nice quiet relaxing film no blasting music.
WV591 guess i oughta sub too.
You are a skilled maker and I am also a maker like you. I hope that there will be cooperation between us in working with your place.
If I could cut as straight and clean as you, I'd have no desire for a plasma cutter. Lol I guess it's the benefit of experience and repetition.
Grandadz Forge I thought the same thing. Skill to cut as straight as that. Didn't even grind it with a straight edge attached.
You The Man!

What size wire do you use??
Is high temp brick better to use than metal? Keeps the internal temp way better I think.

I wish you had a posted parts list so I could be lazy and have the engineers cut it all haha good work man
Awesome build!! are you using 1/4" steel?
Looks like you found a new way to assemble the grill, like it better than using the weight?
Excuse me, what size are the plates you use?
You can do them any size you want
What would one of those smokers cost shipped to colorado
Hell Yeah 💥💥💥

Hey, if it keeps saying your files are corrupt , All you have to do if format it in your PC & it should be good to go. Mine says that all the time.
