Fun fact: Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ was originally intended to be 4 parts, but Chris said he ran out of time to figure out the 4th one. Edit: For those wondering where I got this from, Chris said this in a reply to my comment on the video for Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ Part I.
that’s really interesting seeing as each of the three parts is meant to be one of the parts that made the false son, i think providence being part 1, mithrix being part 2, and auerlionite being part 3. I wonder if part 4 was going to be the false son’s “true” theme of sorts, or the most original to him which ended up being too hard to make on time.
@@frogmouth07Yeah I was counting like "what is it? It's not 7 but it's not 6?!" And then I tried 13/16 and decided I would never be trying to play this song on drums ever Edit: I was counting 7/8 to 13/16, but it could be 7/4 13/8 too, I wasn't really paying enough attention to that part to check

The DLC may be kinda mid and super buggy, but Chris just keeps pumping out banger after BANGER with every OST and this one is no different! Mad respect for even ATTEMPTING this stuff man 😅
They're reworking basically the whole DLC in the coming months and it sounds like it'll be pretty solid, so now the OST won't be the only good thing about it (I hope)
Reading the chat, to the person who mentioned jazz + epic guitar, you might enjoy the genre of fusion and especially some of the works of Frank Zappa (Inca Roads, Black Napkins, the Roxy & Elsewhere album).
I cant help it but every song from risk of rain 2 and its dlcs are so beautiful that they genuinely make me almost cry. Chris and his music touches something in my soul. Its led to a few awkward moments where im listening to the ost while drawing and almost weeping in front of random classmates or teachers and all i can say is “im sorry its just so good :’)”

@@bennie1079 I can't really understand what you wrote, but the thing in question I'm referring to is called "Alt codes" and is a very useful thing to know. For example, for Germans, code alt+0228 gives a umlaut ("ä") and alt+0246 gives o umlaut ("ö").
@@anusaukko6792 There's both a German keyboard layout that has them (which sucks. You're not gonna change the settings just to write a quick e-mail and stuff, you just use the alt codes. And if you're in law school, alt codes like alt+21 ("§") are useful.
