Ya bought it the day it came out playing it again right now I absolutely love it really happy for spiders that this game succeeded imagine greedfall 2 with a bigger budget and what not it would be beautiful but either way greedfall is a fantastic game I love it and I hope everyone gives it s chance atleast
Hi Jor, I've been playing Greedfall as well for some time and here are some additional tips:
1) when you visit new city/village/region for the first time and you approach local merchant/alchemist/smith check what he has to offer in quest section of his sale and buy it (goes very well with gold farming tip in the video)...Thus you will go through some quest quicker, but what is more important, you can use these items during some conversation and got additional bonus or respect (for example I bought some burrial symbol (don't remember exact name) in the Siora's village and used it during the quest The Battle of the Red Spears - Siora's sister calmed down because I knew their tradition and I got additional reputation with natives
2) try to keep on a good side with your companions, once you become friends with them you will get additional talent point in various branches (depend on companion)

The Blacksmiths Gloves give Crafting+1 and so does Kurt. If you have them both you only need to spend 1 point on crafting to be lvl. 3......hope this helps guys

There was a short RPG some years back and I cant remember the name. it was like this for crafting weapons and armour but game was much, much shorter. it was a fantasy game if anyone can let me know as its bugging me.
first time watching the trailer i literally thought this was a new fable game
Instead of traveling away and back (load times can suck), just sleep for an entire 24 hours four times. That resets all enemies in the zone and is very quick. If you sleep 6 times, it also respawns all the plants and ore deposits.
Best place to far is just outside of San Matheus. You can do it right after the tutorial, go outside, go to the caravan master, pay 10 gp to go to San Matheus. The route is from the gate to the left heading away from the city, around and through the small gap, to the camp site. Sleep at the camp site 4x (or 6x), then do the route the other way. You can also sleep in your room in San Matheus, which is close to the gate (and there's a few loot crates around it that will respawn).
I went from level 3 after the tutorial to level 10 in about a half hour of serious grinding using that tactic, and also had SO MUCH MONEY AND MATS.

I did the infinite money glitch today, got 14K... Damn that comes in handy
The enemy respawn is triggered by time, not by distance, „fast“ traveling further away advances the game clock more than shorter travel. You can effect the game clock the same, and trigger the respawn just by sleeping, thus avoiding the loading screens/ time of fast traveling.

Did anyone get the bug where it won't let you progress to the second challenge? It always only gives me the dialogue option to quit the challenge instead of going on. Please help.

For fastest leveling, especially as a mage using shadow burst spam, coin arena, challenge 5, round 2 has the best return. Run in, drop a shadow burst, move closer, repeat, repeat, maybe clean up 1-2 that were out of range. I just timed it, from level 36 to 37 took me 6 minutes and 20 seconds.
This game is REALLY GOOD. I LOOOVE the cities! New Serene, San Matheus & the environments are all VISUALLY SPECTACULAR. I sometimes have a slow walk in San Matheus JUUST to view the beautiful design of the city. The story & plot is also THAT GOOD. This game is 10/10 !!!

You can also just use your camp and sleep for 4 days and all enemies will return. easier than leaving and going back
@JorRaptor or anyone else. I started off as Mage Class and really wanting to go one hand weapon which requires 2 skill points and then at least 1 Agility. I think in your last video you had it unlocked? Would I be hurting myself if I get it early on, or should i wait later on? EDIT: Looks like you did go that route b/c you are using a longsword in the arena in this video.

Anyone knows if you can see all dialogue options, even if you dont have the stats for them? so know who miss options during a quest etc etc? or do you have to have the skill for them, to show up?

According to another video i watched, bandits spawn again after 4 days,so go sleep for 4 days and return.
To farm enemies DO NOT travel, just go to a camp and sleep for 12 hours. That's how long it takes for enemies to respawn. This way you avoid loading screens.

You don't have to travel away just sleep at the camp for 4 days. And hunt bandits at night some points won't spawn unless its night time.
I took on the group of bandits and I was only a lvl 8 you just gotta be hella quick

just so you know the chest that locked were you find contantin has a key go down the ladder in a crate. another thing i noticed that people dont know give contanyin a grey chest piece complete his find his clothes. should be marked what to give him. just look in the chest pieces

I beat coun arena first go my advice get a ring and just dodge and shoot siora will heal your health and armor and kurt can break the armor on final boss in arena
As soon a s you have enough money or sell your inventory buy more advanced ring from a vendor and go back to final coin arena boss. I had novice ring, then got a blue one then a purple one.

You don’t have to fast travel you just have to skip 24 hours 4x at the campfire and they will respond
get science, get stasis and guns, get bullets. Easy mode in any mode.
This is ancient... but you know the Lockpicking and other Talent upgrades is just attachments on armor, right?

3:50 bro i was playing on normal and i couldn't defeat them on a level 21 character with a legendary weapon and legendary armor set.
Lol, I kill them at level 9 with aoe spell.
My problem with the arena is you can't loot bodies afterward, even though there's a yellow glow.
Also, it'd be nice if each arena was different in each city, with various challenges based off the local wildlife.
How do saves work in this game? Can you manually save?

All you have to do is rest in the camp 24 hrs so you can fight the guys again you dont have leave the map
I know this sounds really dumb but how do you use magic in this game? i started with a melee build.
For magic its a ring you equip on your weapon slot, merchants sell them

U have to have the ring skill unlocked as well or u can't equip the ring. It's 2 skill points to unlock
@@jackjohnson8305 make sure to unlock the ability to use magic rings first. I started with the technical build and bought a ring to use as my secondary, without realizing I had to unlock the ability to use it first. Leveling is pretty quick though, so I got to use it pretty early in.
Early game humans are not the easiest to kill, the beasts around Bedir cave where you meet Ullan are the easiest. Almost no armor, and can get you levels day and night.

Love the game, but i feel like the facial animations and graphics are kind of outdated even though the game came out in 2019, it's kind of a bummer since a lot of the game is focused on dialogue and talking.

90, but it's counterproductive since you don't gain stats each level. Your stats come from talent points. Weapons and armour provide you with extra attack and defence.

Just tune the difficulty down to easy and repeateadly fight the final boss in the arena. Enjoy :)

Cuirass sounds like cure ass just FYI good tips the only thing I think you could do better is instead of traveling far away just sleep at a camp most mobs respawn after a day or so
If I have to point a single thing wrong in this game is the economy. The traps are so fucking expensive that basically turns the technical class useless. Also, let me craft while exploring.
Idk why companies don't focus more on games like Greedfall, Fallout, WItcher, Skyrim, etc. They're some of the best games

Is this game worth it
I think it is, especially if you are into og Bioware games. I'm only about 6 hours in so far and I'm really enjoying it. Some have complained about the foot travel(you don't get a mount, as far as I've seen) but it hasn't bothered me because of all the chests and stuff you find. If you do play, I'd advise getting the lock pick skill, as Jor said. When I was exploring Serene, lockpicking got me all kinds of crafting upgrades and gold. The social system is great and the lore is so rich so far. I'm glad I took a chance and preordered.
This is a good game but it is not combat focused it is dialog and walking around heavy. Just know what your getting when you buy it.

honestly, why would you wan to grind in this game? After reaching level 15 + the game becomes a piece of cake. Even on the highest difficulty.
Need certain skills for certain quests and it's annoying as hell to constantly use memory crystals only reason i can think of to grind a lot
