Great build Luke! The plants are very realistic this way. One thing; it might not be a good idea to cut the LED strip while it's lit. It can cause a short circuit and blow up your power supply.
Shadow Boxes are so cool. I've got some old Shep Paine articles on shadow boxes he made. You've done an excellent job on yours. It looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.

If you want to add to this, or a future project, read below._* *_You can add an out-of-focus picture on the back wall: of a Redwood Forest/Endor._* *_Or, you can add a printed Redwood Forest image on transparent overhead sheet aka a transparency, aka a viewfoil, aka a viewgraph._* *_This could have just been a random Redwood Forest/Endor image, or it could have had that bunker in the distance, or more action in the background._* *_This comes back to lighting the diorama; this transparent image could have been lit from behind the box-if needed._* *_Yeah, it's more work, and maybe the box would then have to be deeper, but even an out-of-focus image on the entire backside that isn't lit would have added even more wow-factor._* *_Dioramas can be an never-ending project, but they are in a box and that's where the story should be, so the box should be the limit._*
That's freakin awesome! I would maybe suggest using a few more LED's around the sides in the back to show a bit more details but this still looks GREAT!
I love it, BUT I do believe the trunks have not been trimed to the fullest. The outlines are still straight lines in the end and this is the level of realisticness a human eye detects instantly. And oh boy it triggered me the whole video since except this detail everything is top tier work. :)
A few years after Alec Guinness died, his house in Hampshire was up for sale. An acquaintance of my sisters purchased it and the house needed some work after the sale. During an inspection of the loft, they found a diorama, made by model makers at ILM and presented to Guinness as a momento of his work on the films. There was a plaque. Evidently, it was a scene from the last of the original three, with a forest scene, Ewoks etc. His family were not interested in keeping the diorama after it was discovered and the people who bought the house ended up keeping it, to my knowledge. My sister lost touch with the people who bought the house. I wonder what happened to the diorama?
Loving these smaller, almost claustrophobic dioramas at the moment. This one, along with the latest from 52Miniatures, really are giving me an itch to make my own. ps. your scenics stuff is great. Picked some up from Broadsword Wargaming a while back and there now all I'll use for basing my minis.

It's that ginger beard gets much bigger your going to have to add son to the end of your surname 😂
