    Very nicely done. I must admit Hadrian plain is one of my favourite wallpapers to use. I tend to use it more as a quick build option for castles,and fantasy buildings.
    I've made a few scatter terrain rubble pieces to add to one of the ranges I sculpt.Rather than items to be incorporated into a board.
    Your solution has is elegant in its simplicity knowing its going to be assaulted by D6 and sausage fingers let alone the rigours of the show circuit.
    Big exponent of having urban areas fade into rural through the use of gardens. Rather than abruptly going from brick to field. They also add an additional level of complexity to a game that's lost when you've just buildings plonked on flocked.
    board. Your choice of implying gardens Rather than being sucked in by the veg patch and shed.Really let's the storytelling of the board transition seamlessly from urban to rural.
    Looking forward to seeing the completed table.

    I use that resin rubble trick on rock molds. To keep it thin, I just roll the resin around the mold while it's liquid. Once it gels but is still pliable, I peel it out of the mold and form it to an armature. You get some really cool formations that way.

  • @raymondswarmer1433
    @raymondswarmer1433 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    To add from last post, you must also use rubbing alcohol before the glue. The alcohol will let the glue spread out better and seep into the shrubbery itself. It’s easier to use a Pipette to do this. Thin out the glue to about a 50/50 mix of glue to water. Here in the states the product I use is Elmers Glue-all. And I use a 70 percent concentrate alcohol. Bloody amazing work you lads do for your gaming tables! Cheers from Georgia, USA!! Hoist a pint or two for me!

    It's a clever build, so e creative solutions for areas and the compromises are smart and solution based around game play and forward planning.
    The craters is something not thought about but will grab that one. So to with the rubble sheets.
    To share a tip, if you are 3d printing the bricks, I tend to use orange resin or if lots MDF ones tend to use jam jar with an orange stain, and then dump on piece of cling film to dry.
    The board though is truly amazing
