One thing I noticed about this watch's jubilee bracelet is that this one is far thicker than Seiko ssk001's jubilee bracelet, which I own. I don't know if I like my bracelet this thick.

Tempted to get this version since i like the dial colour. Have the old starbucks version with oyster bracelet and the black Gmt with jubilee bracelet, i must say that the jubilee built quality is superb and wears great. However, it makes the watch head feels heavier to me but that isnt really a prob

@@Aosmaner am still holding back on it haha I have quite a few sub homage watches and personally I prefer one without cyclops. As an alternative to the 'blue/teal' dial, I opted for a heimdallr frost monster (the blue one) and it looks great

@@ShortBetter I already have the SD1964 in green.! The pagani 1639 is my all time favourite. The dial is even bigger than the SD1964. I am considering trying a cronos with a PT5000 but there again only a 40mm. Im in a debate whether to get a black 1964 with myself. Have you reviewed a cronos.? The quality looks up there with san martin. I just cant decide.!! Thanks for the reply. 👍👍
@Howard Lyttle no, haven't had cronos yet. I tried a few San Martin watches and wasn't really impressed. The price, compared to steeldive, was so much higher, but the quality isn't really different 🤔
@@ShortBetter i have just watched a submariner comparison of Jodis from just one more watch and he compared ten different submariners and the one that blew all the others away was the cronos. He said it felt as close to the rolex in quality as you could get. He had the PT5000 and the selica movements. I think i will persevere with my SD1953 and see if i can get used to the 40mm size, if i do get used to a smaller watch then i will go for the no date chronos if not then a black sd1964 it will be. On ali with the discounts i can pick the pt5000 cronos up for less than £180uk that has a glidelock clasp and a no date option. Or pay the extra £30 for the swiss selita option. I think my research is now done and i will give myself a week to see if i can live with the sd1953 firstly. Many thanks. I have liked and subscribed.

Funny that you asked, I just cut a part of the video explaining why I don't remove the plastic from the bracelet 🤣🤣 If shortly.. I will be selling it, and I couldn't really wrap it back nicely as it was before, so I decided not to touch it

@@ShortBetter if you want to resell it, you should leave the bracelet wrapped. But it would be good to say in the video you do not intend to keep the watch, or if you want to keep it and why.

I've owned (& worn 24/7) my all Black SD1953 for 6 weeks and it has been running faultlessly. I'd really like another slightly 'dressier' version. The all Blue "Smurf" is nice but I'd absolutely love it if Steeldive produced the SD1953 with the Turquoise dial and Blue (rather than Black) Bezel. If they do, I'll be buying one with a Jubilee bracelet 👍
You can order from them a blue bezel insert and swap it yourself😊
There is a problem with "date zoom window", too much zoom, is awfull, it totally breaks the experience.
You can easily remove it😊
Got one from Steeldive Official and the color doesn't come close to the ads, visuals or this video. It's aqua but a lot dimmer and greenish.
