- We originally did not want to feature this part of the video, as the road had gotten wetter due to the rain coming down as we climbed the hill - However, due to the many viewers' requests, we decided to let you enjoy this segment too.
Apologies if we couldn't go as fast - had to keep the car in one piece for Samuel's sake.

I am not watching the road... I'm watching the foot work and replaying the heel-toe scenes, so exciting to watch!
Hahaha, good thing is you can watch it many times over. On the downhill you also get a chance to see the handwork in sync with the footwork.
And all of this is pure muscle memory, instinctive. You can't think fast enough to remember how to do it. Everything must be second nature for this to happen.

Honda really makes the best small capacity performance NA engines. That Vtec howl is distinctive and so addictive. Great drive sir, if it was dry, it would have been superb! 👍

Fd2r is one of the most durable car I've owned.
Cheap to maintain and is really hassle free basically.
Drove for 14 years,nearly 250k then my coolant starts leaking.
Engine mount about 140k.
Engine oil seal etc on 120k.
Even my air con still going strong.
Worth every penny.
Best is that it doesn't have too much electronic shit like nowadays cars.
(Mine is totally stock by the way)

@@djtan3313 Not just strawberries, even old people also, need lane assist, sensing, cruise control, comfortable auto cars, so many aunties reverse up the kerb at high speed tearing down fences and house walls. After that blame the car what sudden unintended acceleration, to save face. Everyone knows its water gun driving.

Nice one Uncle. It's rare to see enthusiast doing downhill drive nowdays. Mostly only do uphill, highway, or on track. Downhill is a drive where your HP doesn't really matter, it's more into suspension, and some serious balls and skills.

Both are equally as good. Later generations always have some improvements. Buy the latest that suits your pocket

Hi Uncle, have you tried the Jalan Sungai Koyan, accessed from Ringlet. Very nice road around 70km. Great to test drive there. Certain places, you could see 3 corners ahead. Really enjoyable drive there.
Yes I have. Great road, but a bit far for me. I do have some footage of my Golf there, but was not going fast.

Sometimes , you go for double clutching instead of heel toe once, can you explain the rationale behind? Thank you
sometimes we need to de-clutch twice, once to go to neutral and once to re-engage. It's called double-declutch to protect the gearbox.

Uncle can I ask you how tight should we grip the steering wheel during spirited high energy driving? I find myself subconsciously gripping the steering wheel very tight, is this wrong?
You should have a strong grip at all times. More important is not to use the steering to hold yourself in place. That is the job of the seatbelt.

Great driving uncle. I have a question. As an ex pro rally driver and still driving like a pro, do you observe the tachometer or speedometer during intense driving situation like this? Just curious. Because for me if i am driving fast downhill with many corners i have no time to see the meters because i afraid i would lose focus and crash. And although i love to drive fast i am still not daring like you. 😂
After a while you het to feel and hear tbe revs more than see, but every once in a while you look when you have the time. You can feel the power.
