- In this episode of this series, our team will be performing a bit of everything. Proper maintenance, upgrading and refreshing. Start off by replace with a new set of Yokohama Advan Tires, then an OEM upgrade in the clutch master cylinder, follow by a set of brand new Mugen window/door visor and finishing off with a pair of OEM brand new shift knob and boot.

Props to you guys for aligning the "H" emblem center cap with the valve stem. All Hondas come like that from factory and most people seem to mess it up when putting center caps back on. Good attention to detail by you guys!
A heat gun helps a lot with softening up the old adhesive for removal!

Red dots lined up with the valve stems....yes! The FD2 is one of my fav of the CTRs but I don't like how you have to take apart the cowl to work on the car on those 8th gens. Awesome stuff as always AHCG!

I would recommend Heat Gun, it softens the 3M Double Sided Tape that’s already applied to the OEM Window Visors.

It needs ceramic brake pads, so that it doesn't accumulate a lot of brake dust fast on all that beautiful paint.

Great video! But you should have used the RHD version of the CMC. These are the part numbers for the EM2 CMC:

Car looks great as it is for the 3M tape use a hairdryer or heat gun the glue will be soft and is easy to take it of and windows down.

Love the content, fd2 has always been my dream type r. How did this one get into the States since it's not 25 years old yet? Is it fully registered and can be driven on the road legally? Great vídeo, another method to remove the double side tape, is a heat gun, usually it is the fastest way 👍🏻

Did you use the new flexible line that came with it? Or did you use the original pipework and it fit fine?

Spray some WD40 lubricant on the adhesive..let it soak..and try removing it after some minutes..it will come out clean..

For peeling off the adhesive, maybe try plastic razor blades. You can get them from Wurth USA.

Personally I believe the WeatherTech Rain Visors are better looking as compared to Honda or Mugen kits. This is largely because they fit into the window glass channel, as opposed to attaching to the outer window frame via 3M Tape.

Should've got the Eman(k20z3allmotorftw) - Oem Clutch Master with deleted damper. The Em1 clutch master is terrible.

Great video. My FD2 just has the squeaking noise while I push down the clutch, I have lubricated the clutch spring and not help. So should I replace/repair this clutch cylinder? Any comments? Many thanks
That's all depends where the noise is coming from. If you have isolate the noise and and it's coming from the pedal, look into the master cylinder. We have also seen clutch pressure plate and un-lube release bearing can make squeaking sounds as well

That paint seems to be contaminated. It will be a lot better after atleast having the iron removed, and being clay barred, washed...and spray waxed.
Honda America screw us by not offering these @ limited production here in the states.
I like the Factory over the Mugen Visor....More classy Oem feel.

Is swapping out the CMC and Slave Cylinder on a 8th gen FA5 really hard? I've done valve adjustment, breaks and suspension on my car but I'm considering taking this job to the shop because I've heard about how tight it is down there. Any suggestions or particular tools I'd need or if it's just not that hard?
Simple hand tools, but we suggest to have a professional to handle these tasks if you’re not familiar

Plastic razors work for adhesive
You need to use a heat gun or interior steamer to remove the double sided tape.
