- It's not everyday you get to drive a modified car, so when Thomas Yung of Official K Tuner offered his FC Civic TCP with a manual gearbox and heaps of power for me to check out on Genting, I couldn't say no.

@@YSKhongDriving They were definitely not chilling la uncle, more like no balls to push the pedal. Thats why modified cars>supercars on the street. 300hp is the sweet spots in my opinion then match the engine with 1 ton body 👀

Doesn’t matter how powerful or expensive your car is or how skilful a driver you think you are, when you see another car closing the distance behind, you should yield the lane. Ego is not good when you are racing.

WOW! Just wow! This has to be the best built and setup ever on an FC Civic! Sleeper looks too! Paired with Uncle YS driving skills, Ferrari and Mclaren oso literally had to give way!

What type gearbox he use? Fk7 manual? Or fk8
@@tajep81 fk7 is a good fit.it also might be an Si gearbox more power and torque even stock

@@awangemas9505 fc full spec only 130k, i think his model is base spec 120k..so mod 50-60k still quite hefty actually, so this bro is legend for a sleeper car~ 👍🏻
@@awangemas9505 personal satisfaction bro. nampak memang leceh, sebab nk masuk sana sini parts. tetapi bila setting tu, jadi, memang puas hati gila. aku yg setting bodo bodo kereta pun rasa puas hati bila ada improvement. lagi satu, kalau fk8 semua orang tau kereta tu laju. tapi fc ni orang fikir biasa biasa jer. sekali boleh keep up dngn kereta 400horsepower. terperanjat orang. sleeper car. haha

After so many videos, This one really shows how good you really are YS Khong! And of course how good is the car! I'm amazed of not the power but the suspension to support the power up to Genting
Thanks for your kind words. Actually my take is this particular set up is more for track use, and is a bit too stiff for Genting. Anyhow, I try to adapt myself to each car that I drive.
If it suits the road conditions, then I acclamatize to it faster.
That is why with most cars I get better at handling it after some time.
We start by feeling out the car slowly, and we gradually add on the speed as we go along.
Earlier in the day we had another comment that I was not driving fast enough - I prefer to go slower and be safe, rather than wiping it out in the first few corners.

A real sleeper, at first saw the car like nothing special, wondered if it can even make it all the way up. But a real beast, mclaren and ferrari is as shocked as me

Hahaha, there really was a mosquito. Rear Camera bracket was broken, so we didn't have any rear camera, to my regret.

It is - more power changes a lot of things. You have to upgrade brakes and suspension, and you have to manage the power and grip, and definitely you cannot put the full power down all the time.
He never uses the spectacles... as its age... such a good characters of rally driver!

When Civic fc came out with 1.5l turbo with cvt, it is so frustrating, however I always believe Honda always let the enthusiast to squeeze the juice from it, the power of dream!
Internally fully modified engine ka uncle?
Engine has some bits - I think different pistons, turbo and downpipe, tuning. Manual gearbox, exhaust, suspension, boost controller.
Watching someone else going full send with your car while smoking 2 super cars. Must be one hell of a ride for the car owner 😂

Must be a very unique build even worldwide - there aren't many 10th generation Civic with a manual swap around. If only Honda sells the manual Civic outside of Japan and North America lol...

Currently you either buy the Type R or the very low end Proton Saga and no options in between that's good for day to day use

Damn this is the most intense driving I have ever seen in reality on Genting road. By watching you uncle YS Kong, already feels the adrenaline rush and heat beats like doing hiking up the mountain and the fact that this perfectly modified FC beats those two McLaren was epic... I'm pretty sure they were arguing among themselves to either continue in pursuit or not... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We are always very careful when driving, and we slow down for traffic.

Uncle YS use manual like pro, 2nd and 3rd gear mostly, occasionally 4th gear, this is a real pro car driver and uncle YS, handle it so exceptionally well, and I forgot how to use manual already 😂how I wish I got a instructor like that, btw civic nowadays got manual?

You can customize gear, then you are super good! I work for Merz and I know to match gear with torque is really tough job. Thumbs up.
