I bet Atticus will be the one referenced in Matthew 27:54. Mark 15:39 and Luke 23:47 "And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!""
I'm actually theorizing that the centurion mentioned there could be Quintis. My guess, and I could be way off, that Quintis will be sent to Jerusalem as a centurion soldier since he got demoted. In Season 2, Episode 7 when he talks with Jesus, he says quite a few lines which could be major foreshadowing. Such as: "then I cannot promise you won't stop breathing," and, "we're on the same team, just don't make me kill you." He's also immensely angry at Jesus because he got demoted and now will want revenge. To me, all of this could point to Quintis being the centurion soldier who physically nails Jesus to the Cross. And just possibly, he might be the one who says, "surely, this was the Son of God." I guess we'll have to see! 🤔
I like to think that's where they are headed with Atticus. Smart man, unfooled by the ridiculous behavior of Herod and even Pilate. It'll be interesting. 😊

Thereby placing Barrabas on his only stage of infamy; and a reason for the Romans to kill him. Of course that does not work out as planned. Barrabas, an extreme Zealot, is never heard of again. Quintus would die the death he deserves and bless his sarcastic, brutal heart, would be recognized for his courage. Recognition was what he wanted. Anyway...that would work for me, but probably not the writers!!! 😊

We just got back from watching Season 4 , Episodes 7-8, and it was totally awesome! What a blessing and a beautiful depiction of the story of Lazarus and Jesus preparing to enter Jerusalem. If you haven't seen the Chosen on the big screen, you owe it to yourself to go and see the most wonderful, amazing movie on the story of Jesus and the Gospel of Christ! Thanks to all of you who are involved in producing this awesome movie!!
OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, and everything else too! Season 4 continues in what will become a masterpiece of Biblical productions. It truly does bring the Bible to life.

Often misunderstood that when Christ wept , it wasn’t because Lazurus was dead … it was the sadness of bringing back Lazurus from Paradise on the account of the lack of faith within the family and friends of Lazurus …. How would you all feel if one moment you’re in the Eternal Heavenly realm and suddenly you’re back among the dying world and flesh again …. Id weep too

Ps 146:4 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise." 1 Thes 4:16

I'm almost 100% sure that the solider at the cross who says "Surely this man was the son of God" is Atticus. The question is can the actor deliver the line as epicly as John Wayne did.
I think they might have Atticus be the one who, at the cross, says, "Truly this man was the Son of God." I know, it doesn't fit the text - he's not a centurion. But they've taken liberties before. I think it would be an interesting turn for Atticus to be there, witness the crucifixion, and finally be convinced at the show of God's power upon the moment of the Savior's death. Also, I think they'll likely start episode 7 with a flashback to David and end the season with Jesus about to ride into Jerusalem. Maybe they won't leave it on a cliffhanger, but they've also done that before, too.
I'm so glad to know my Jesus it's the best relationship to have in world along with the outpouring of his Everlasting Love Grace and Mercy that never ends so watching the chosen sheds a great deal on life dealings in all ares so looking forward to season 5 still on the edge of my seat

Jesus was the very first to be "resurrected". He was immortal after being resurrected and He and others that were resurrected after him will never die again. Lazarus, Jairus's daughter and others were raised from the dead are still mortal and would die again. There is a difference between resurrection and raised from the dead. I do love all of your videos and I can't wait to see 7 & 8.

Nicodemus is one of two men that go into the tomb of Yeshua (Jesus) to anoint his body, after his crucifixion. It’s in the scriptures, so I am praying 🙏 that The Chosen follows that scripture and shows Nicodemus in the end of Season 6 / beginning of Season 7 (wherever they show that scene).
I was thinking about the OT scripture (can't remember which book), that says, "see, your King comes to you, (gentle/lowly/humble) riding on a donkey." All my life watching portrayals of the triumphant entry- was Jesus riding in and the crowds on flat land. Why did I never consider Jerusalem and the hills and steps?😂
Of course, notes were not taken by disciples when Jesus was with us. The Chosen has shown this throughout. I don't have gripes about The Chosen--not at all. But, it's pretty well-known and accepted that EVERYTHING was written down much later after Jesus's ascension.
I agree. That is Shumuel and not Little James. Shumuel is struggling with his faith and he is beginning to believe in Jesus also. This is him in agony over the issue.
One curious note of concern I have... To my knowlege, this is the FIRST time in The Chosen, where Atticus Aemilius is NOT eating!!! 😲 This tells me things are getting REAL!!! 🤔 LOL!!! 🤣
In my opinion, the story arc involving Thomas is becoming a distraction. I just finished watching season 4 episodes 7,8 at a local cinema. Excellent sound and acting. But because of this side story involving the apostle Thomas, I feel a little dissatisfied. I hope seasons 5 through 7 will resolve this. If Dallas sticks to the Bible it will.
Again it needs to be seen in context, so while it may be a distraction right now, later on it will make Thomas who he is meant to be. He’ll have a huge moment in season 7 and I’m sure in the next 2 seasons as well.
Brandon, I have a question for you regarding season 4. In your personal opinion, which disciple has grown the most in their faith in Jesus? We've seen the disciples discuss whether a ranking system exists or not. If it did exist, which would be the closest to Jesus in regards to season 4?
lol I’m not sure any of us could judge on that. Though it definitely seems in scripture that John James and Peter were the closest to Him. They appeared at all of the most important moments with Jesus.

Yes, Atticus is a huge mystery! We haven't seen much of Ciaphias throughout the entire series I believe.

Small correction, Lazarus wasn't resurrected, he was raised from the dead. There's a difference. Christ was the first person to be resurrected.
