It's Herod's porch that Caiaphas is on. Remember that in one of the insider videos Jaelin says that they swapped out one porch and replaced it with a bigger one for Herod. That was done close to the end of filming, so I believe they used that for the last scene filmed.

Could the explosion be caused by Barabas and those "bandits", and seen by the Romans as possible action against Rome - and that is what leads to Barabas before Pilate. I also don't think that we will actually hear God's voice, but rather like in The Shepherd, where we see the shepherds reacting to "something" but we don't hear the words and instructions from the angel, I think in Season 5 we will be shown the faces of the apostles and those in the room as they "feel" the voice of God. But since we disagree on so many things, I won't be surprised if you don't think these ideas are plausible, LOL. Thanks Brandon for the continuing deep dive.
I do think we'll hear the voice of God, but this comes from some personal insights from people behind the scenes. I like it either way lol Definitely could be plausible that we only see the reactions.
