Banger. I've heard some criticisms about the structure being nothing special but I agree with Johnny on that. Not every metal track needs to be experimental to be good.
I love that it almost instantly goes from aggressive, to calm, to aggressive again and it doesn't really give you a break. Some songs don't need to have smooth transitions. I agree with you
I love this track, I think this is a perfect example of "not every song needs to re invent the wheel". If every single song ever produced did something new and revolutionary it would be headspinning. Poppy gets in there and with jordan really just hammers it out in a perfect modern metal core sound. Nailed it.
I've been a fan of Poppy since before she signed the record deal with Sumerian. Love that she constantly tries new things and you never really know what you're gonna get from new music of hers.
i used to kind of be a metal music elitist, and when i was younger i probably would have said something like "oh shes not in it for the right reasons, or shes just riding the wave" or whatever but as ive gotten older ive softened up that stance. I think its pretty badass that a "pop" artist is exposing a new audience to guitar forward music. pretty cool stuff.
This is Poppy we are talking about ,it wont be a one-dimensional album, though there will be plenty of heavy tracks there will still be variety from Ballads, Synth Pop and even Pop Punk all confirmed.
Brilliant and heavy, I love it! All four tracks from the album so far are excellent and defy conventional genres with a fusion of industrial, metalcore, synth pop, techno, and the glitched out nu metal Poppy is known for. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album because people are saying it is brutally heavy, some of her heaviest to date. As far as the title meaning, Poppy has remarked it is about two-faced people and seeing thro⁶⁵ and the context of the lyrics shows that it is the topic. Also, you may get to interview her when she tours here with Bad Omens next year; hopefully I can catch her show in Melbourne (I'm not really into Bad Omens and have Jinjer, Kittie, and The Prodigy all just before it, so 270 might cause my wallet to hate me).
Ralph Alexander the Drummer has been with Poppy since around 2019 and is Poppy's only long-time member, Poppy changes up her band all the time, she is after all a solo artist.
Everyone of my moms side of the family believes in ghosts, they've seen them at hotels and in the house I grew up. My mom told me that me and my father would always get sick at the house and someone told us that the ghost in that house hated men.. Thankfully I haven't seen any yet but I am not sure whether to believe in ghosts or not 😅
Hey guys! Just passing by to invite you to know our work: we are a father and son metal duo. My 16 y'old son write and play all the instruments, and I handle the lyrics and vocals. One month ago we release our first single, and the second is on the way. I hope you can take a time to know! Cheers from Brazil!
I love this and love her but I'm getting a bit tired of Jordan fish songs they all have the exact same structure, this is almost beat for beat the same as curse by architects
Why are people hyperfixated on the genres, nobody listen to the lyrics anymore or wtf? Because these lyrics ate half the music we have heard this year from ALL genres

Poppy and Jordan Fish - match made in heaven x
Architects ft. Poppy prod. by Jordan Fish
Former Fever 333 guitarist also co-wrote and played on this song as well
She's amazing omg
Absolute banger from Poppy here! She’s been on fire this year and, as a longtime fan, I love to see it
Those two new songs are on her upcoming album, hopefully the rest of the album is also heavy. I’m here for it!

Honestly in love with the lass! I thoroughly enjoy her whole vibe.
Her outfits are really fun to see.

Thanks for reminding us of the maids outfit so close to halloween, what should we expect this year!??👀👀
very excited for her new album!
She does have a live band playing with her on tour.
your thumbnails are always so funny 😂
I love how she hits you in the face with a sledgehammer as soon as you press play
I'd love to see Poppy on with you two, would be fun!
Absolutely love it! 🖤🤘🏼
Agnostic, is what you guys were talking about at the end, I am the same
I think the song kicks ass!
I've never been hard as nails and softer than taffy at the same time before!
I'll shamelessly keep saying Poppy and Nita Strauss should do a collab
They're on the same label too. And Poppy has an opening for a real guitar slinger after Chris Greatti mysteriously disappeared from Poppy's music.
YES. I been waiting for this

Lucky me I guess who don't listen to Architects 😂 so this is kind of new to me
Listening to hey there gave me hope, I think negative spaces will have diversity
Her new album has pop music and other genres as well according to what she said so u may prefer that cause I'm sure wont sound nothing like this song
Why are people hyperfixated on the genres, nobody listen to the lyrics anymore or wtf? Because these lyrics ate half the music we have heard this year from ALL genres
@@ClarisaAguayo-m2n I didn't mention genres
I like this song but i feel like its a bit to basic or formulaic, when in the past poppys music was never this formulaic feeling to me
