I love how you use the same workflow/process whatever the project or material. I tend to come back to your videos from time to time just to remind me how important it is to have a structured workflow.
Thank you for teaching us! Also, could you consider making tutorials on environment texturing (like rocks, house tiles, etc...)? Tackling a full environment seems a bit scary compared to a single asset...
Hey, I know that this is a bit old but a question if you don't mind. How do you work with black colored texture? It's really HARD to blend black with other colors, especially if I want to make it has color variations. The black just eat them all.
Anybody has those boots model? I really need it to go through this great texturing tutorial :) Unfortunately there was no model in the tutorial I bought :(
I purchased this tutorial but did not understand the following points. Please tell me. 1) When I import into Substance Painter after exporting from Zbrush, the texture set list is empty. Do I really need to merge in Zbrush? How can I enable texture set lists on the Substance Painter side, e.g. polygroups? 2) When I first imported low polygons into Substance Painter, I enabled "UDIM tile", but after that, in 2D, they are not UDIM'd. (3) When I start Zbrush, Editmode" is not enabled by typing "T" on the keyboard.
Amazing! How would you apply a material only to the stitching in substance painter? Like if you wanted to have really bright stitching or something how would you do that with out painting it manually?
Curious about your source leather you used from Megascans...? Can you provide a link to that so we can follow along? I bought the gumroad version of this tut, but it was not included in the project files. :) Great tutorial though.
It's purchased texture, so I can't provide that with the file. Any decent leather texture should generate similar results. In the end it's about the blending.
Quick question with the new substance version: I use ARNOLD 5, Maya 2018. I don't see the export option with arnold 5/UDIM...( Older versions had different Arnold exports like Arnold 4, 5). How come is that?
when you choose the naming convention when you export texturing, check the end of the name. To export UDIM now the file name ends with (.$udim), the old $texgtureSet doesn't work.

Workflows are not really complicated, it's mostly how good the artists eyes are that dictates the outcome.

Nice
Substance Painter officially supports painting across multiple UDIM tiles! Would love to see you texture an asset with the update!
will do something about that soon!
great tutorial! Can I study now

The stitching is on its own material layer, can adjust that layer however you like.
@@ArtruismDigital :) i understand. So when you bake high poly to low poly how do you do that in subsance, with colour id map?

Hello, I'm curious if you use substance designer in creating the texture? or you only use painter
It's just painter, texture is from Meganscan
@@ArtruismDigital Nice! so it's possible to texture objects using only painter.
Does this course have any subtitles?
no they don't at the moment.
Texturing Realistic Leather in Substance Painter, could sell it on udemy?

Stand with UKRAINE 💙💙💛💛
I bought your video about shoes and I don't understand in which video I need to see how to make a texture in Photoshop. Please help
That tutorial is about texturing leather, not really about make texture in Photoshop. For realistic style texture are real photos of leather.
how do you expect we press like before seeing the video? xD
