It’s been some years ago that I started a Loyalist Night Lords project. I love painting Night Lords but I am no friend of Chaos. Looking forward to more lore. I call my force the 3rd, the Bloody Judgement. Happy to know there are others out there that refused to turn from the Emperor’s Path.
Love it mate absolutely love it loyalist night lords been looking for a story covering loyalists from traitor legions that didn’t just die out by the end of the story
This is actually a really interesting story thread that I've also often thought about. What happened to those who disagreed with the direction their legion was headed on either side of the Heresy.
And this comes a month after I started my loyalist, most defensively Imperial Fists successor chapter, (K)nightborn, with their dark grey armor, midnight blue pauldrons, a bat symbol and a love for a chainglaive and jump-packs. Thank you
@@KnightofNostramo at 1:14 it sounded almost like you tried to imitate Keith Legder from the Dark Knight during that speech. But do not worry, it is only a small nitpick. You did a good job
Fair question, and one I'm not entirely sure of the answer to. I have it written as a single word in the script for whatever reason. What I do remember is thinking the name was fitting for a Night Lords aligned vessel as the "sunless planet" did have a sun, just not one that effected Nostramo particularly well. For whatever reason, I picture seeing the sun from Nostramo as a black outline in the sky and nothing more.
@KnightofNostramo That makes complete sense, glad to hear! I asked because 'Black Sun' is the English name for the Sonnenrad, a Nazi symbol used by the SS. I'm not accusing you of anything, but given the *unsavoury* parts of the 40k community I did want to check before I dove in full of enthusiasm 😅 Glad to hear that wasn't the reason though, looking forward to more!
I wonder how many other 40k enjoyers heard the name "Black Sun" and immediately thought "Hmmm i better make sure this isn't a obscure reference to WW2 Germany before i dive in with full enthusiasm" my guess is millions, possibly billions, maybe even trillions!
Major Night Lords fan, always wanted to know about their loyalist elements. Even if it comes from a fellow fan. Well done!

Nice dude!!
WERE SO BACK
I’ll just assume that’s a good thing
I am doing a loyalist chapter descendant night lords. Just sadly I got stuck on the iconography
Death imagery is generally a good way to go. Of course it depends on if the chapter knows they're Night Lords descendent or not.
Is this canon lore, or fan fiction?
This is my own story. I’ll make that more clear from now on
Got it, thanks for explaining!
Cool Story. Small crtitique: Try to sounds less like the Joker
Noted. Is there a particularly prevalent section in your eyes?

This is a really good story, but, uhhh... how'd you get to the name 'Black Sun,' if you don't mind me asking?
