Panna Cotta | Italian Dessert | Easy to make

  • 3 main ingredients: milk or cream (or half-and-half), gelatin and sugar.
    Serve with your favorite fruit or berry (jam, mint, syrup etc., use your imagination).
    Optional: you can zest an orange or a lemon into milk.
    How to make:
    Soak gelatin sheets in cold water to soften for about 5-10 min.
    Slowly heat up milk on low heat about 3 min.
    Do not boil.
    Add vanilla, white or brown sugar, stir the mixture.
    Turn off the heat. Add the gelatin to the hot milk and stir.
    Sugar and gelatin should be dissolved.
    Let it cool (about 30 min) on a table or a window sill.
    Then put it in the fridge for 4-5 hours or for a night.
    Ingredients (for 2 persons):
    whole milk 400 ml (or half light/heavy cream and half milk),
    good quality gelatin 3-4 sheets (with 3 of it is the texture softener)
    vanilla sugar 8 gr = 1 packet
    white or brown sugar 2-3 tablespoons
    ½ banana
    It can be stored 2-3 days in the fridge.
