For those that never had this before, the dipping sauce is usually tangy and slightly citrus with a little spice to cut through the greasiness and starchiness of the omelette. Some places serve a less starchy version, the typical omelette.
However, in Taiwan a sweeter sauce is used instead. If I'm not wrong it usually contains a hint of plum.
If I could, I'd go back tomorrow to Malaysia just to taste their Oyster omelettes again...

In some Hawker stalls they put eggs more then the seafood and that makes not genuine. It's a nice actually. Those who havent try can try its nice when it's hot from the wok🤤

Living in changie barracks in the 1960s as a small boy my parents would take us to town for a treat from little old ladies cooking from rickshaws still remember the smell and taste to this day 👍🏴

My idea of a perfect dish would be potstickers inside deep fried spring rolls, then made into an omelette and enclosed in a pancake, then put into a taco and placed on a pizza, then layered into a cake, cut into slices, each slice coated in a batter, deep fried and served on a bed of lettuce because I am on a diet.

跟台灣蚵仔煎很像，但是差別在醬料、煮法、用料，台灣版是蚵仔和麵皮一起煮，在加入青菜，起鍋後，在加醬料。
