I adore this property 's set up. Having the living space toward rear overlooking the spacious grounds. The home is also light and clean. You aren't isolated and you aren't put upon by neighbors. It also helps to have the sea and a pub nearby! Lol. 🙂

One of the things that always strikes me about these properties is the lack of trees.
People don’t seem to plant trees in ireland

Usually people will keep their gardens pretty clear. There are nature walks and greenery and trees and all of those beautiful things on the doorstep here!

Really nice, comfortable space! A few issues with the kitchen, but no deal breakers! (I don't like the oven and fridge in the corner, but... There's also no dishwasher, but I could live with that too.) I really like this house and the flower boxes add extra charm!
Totally agree. Lovely house, but the kitchen layout doesn't work.
There is a dishwasher just to the left of the kitchen sink. It’s one of those fancy hidden ones with the panel that matches the cabinetry.

Canadian here, love your home tours! Just wonder why the beds are always against the wall. Is it just to showcase the room or is the Rome so small, it's impractical to center the bed? It's a nightmare to make a bed against a wall. Still, what a beautiful place! Than you!

Love the large bathroom. I use a walker and plenty of room for both me and my walker. Same for the whole home. And not to oversized to easily keep clean.

Can't get over the lack of clothes closets. Pretty property. I noticed that you cannot open oven door and refrig door at the same time.
Although you seem like a very nice person and present this cottage beautifully, it would be nice if you could move off camera more while outside so we can see the full picture, views and cottage better.

Looks like the oven door would interfere with the refrigerator. Why are there no built in closets in these homes? What do people do with their clothing?

Often the reason for a lack of built in closets is because the owners opt for freestanding furniture that can be changed as they wish over the years..

In the USA after I live, modern homes always have built-in bedroom closets. I'd prefer to have freestanding, moveable closets (aka wardrobes) for more flexible furniture placement.

Very nice presentation. But personally for me, I really do not like the "open plan". I would have moved the kitchen forward into the bathroom area to give it a separate space so that you don't look directly into the galley kitchen nor have to smell and see what is being cooked while you are watching tv or entertaining. The bathroom would need to be moved forward as well. So that means that you might lose one bedroom, but you would gain a much larger living room/dining room space that would enjoy so many windows and views.
And as an American, I would die if I couldn't have at least ONE bathtub.

Yeah I agree about the bathtub which you would certainly need with children. Also wouldn't want company to have to walk through the entire house just to get to TBE back area for entertaining.
This is just perfect for a senir couple. My husband and I 2ould jsut love it if we wer able to sell our home in NYS and move to Ireland. Lovely home. Do not think furniture goes with thie price? For t hose moving from oo far it is soften hard to just go out an buy mroe furniture as not able to take their own with them. But it is possible if neccsary, as some furntiure stores will deliver, it idoes so here anyway? Thank you for sharing. This may help smene a it to be able to mak better decision?

The floors are beautiful throughout the house. I loved the painted walls and no wallpaper. I liked the house until you had the kitchen livingroom combo. The stove is difficult to access unless you press against the refrigerator. The dining room table is too big for the space.
Where are the closets in the bedrooms?

There were 2 freestanding wardrobes in 2 bedrooms and space within the 3rd room for ... just personal choice with the current owners on full layout.

Bedrooms have no closets 😮 ?? I didn’t care for the house plan , it’s very badly designed ,, finishes are ok but no character what so ever ! Bathroom no linen closet or tub ,,kitchen area is also badly distributed…u cut urself of space ! Didn’t care for it !

The living area seems small. Three bedrooms would at least mean four people. Not enough room to even watch tv. But cozy and clean
