I feel like I have been transported to heaven! The cottage was just so heavenly! And the roadside shop was a delight! I didn’t want to come back to reality.
There's nothing in the cottage that is extraordinarily expensive, but the taste level is through the roof! It takes style and attention to detail to make a space so special. And time.
I really think the tourist industry should give you both an award in acknowledgement of how you are showing us everything that is special, unique and beautiful about this wonderful island. Wonderful post, as always.

Sooo much of our older England like this has gone. Pulled down deemed not fit to live in and newbuilds gone up instead.
I was brought up as war ended in large chocolate box cottage in remote lovely village in middle England. There were separate wings to the house, set with 2 orchards, one either side long path leading up to it. It had stables, a coach house outbuildings and 2 other small cottages in grounds with veg ad flower gardens. Main cottage had a walk in pantry that was a room in itself. And though my great grandmother and uncle had mod cons installed, it was not deemed fit eventually. No disrepair....but on the land, multiple modern houses were built and nothing remained of my childhood. It was a dream for a child and fruits collected in the Orchard by the family.....it housed 3 separate family groups at one point and always 2.
The living kitchen was where everything happened. The baking, fruit bottling, alot of meals and other family coming from the stables for a drink or snack.
Plans were made ideas shared and serious issues held in the sitting room. Winter was magical, snow for praps 3 months but a roaring fire where all the family gathered in times of a storm. Now all gone in a puff. Oh we had a water closet installed as well as a bathroom..
In 1945....but our hot water was from a boiler.
If only someone had had the foresight to recognise its worth.
Charming is the word... from beginning to end. The cottage was so sweet, ingenious in its use of space and so many quirky inclusions. I loved the windows and kitchen nook and artist's studio. The roadside stall and fresh donuts and tasty/healthy breakfast. Much enjoyed. Thank you Kirsten and Joerg. (I'll be watching this again and bringing it to mind and dreaming of a three week stay!)🥯🥀🐱🐖

Oh my! I believe this is the best one yet! .I am totally in love! The roadside stall is wonderful! Yummy! With all the rain, I think you were supposed to spend the day indoors. Gorgeous little village! I sooo want to visit Britain, but I know I'll never afford it. This is the kind of thing I would love to see. I don't give two hoots about London or other cities. Just the small, friendly, lovely and ancient villages. Looks like an amazing weekend.
never imagine that people live like this in such a ...quiet and respectfull enviroment...just wow...these places really exists? i dont say where, but here everything is grey and people are tense and agressive, life is grey and speedy and ...but seeing your cottage and the whole enviroment was such a breath of fresh reality..guys thank you for these videos...and a vacation there must be on our list..at least once in a life time

That is the most charming cottage ! I could move right in ! I would sit in that window seat , drink tea and read books for hours . The courtyard would be enchanting at nighttime with fairy lights . If I ever manage to move to England, the Cotswolds is where I'd rather live! I don't know what is more beautiful: the stone cottages, the abundance of greenery and flowers or the fact that there's lots of rain, which is my favourite kind of weather!
This particular cottage wasn't exactly my favourite due to my claustrophobia, but I loved the limestone floors and the wood burner in the living room. The little patio was also really cute!

It's very large and renovated for a cottage with so many rooms. It's full of character but modern character. Yes many would live there if they could afford it.

I love tinny well designed homes, in The Sims or when modding for Elder Scrolls or Fallout, I try to make all my homes as tinny as possible, but with love in each detail. This is an excellent inspiration for my next Elder Scrolls home mod. :)

I agree . . . what was only shabby in the past is charming today. One problem, though, the old rule about mirrors, if they don't reflect something wonderful, don't put them up. We only get ceiling views with this one.
I absolutely love it too! I am jealous. Of all the styles in the world my favorite has always been English Country. I love that you appreciate great art as well. I draw lace with pen & white ink... and just imagine one of my pieces hanging on one of your walls. Anyway, I can imagine! :) I live in a little tiny town in Wisconsin USA and we have old farm houses and cottages, but nothing like yours! Thank you for sharing!!
