If I recall, what is significant about the swords being Carbonadium is that it is a radioactive Adamantium-based alloy that counteracts and partially neutralizes a healing factor. Those swords alone were the main justification Death Battle gave in the Deadpool vs Deathstroke fight for Deadpool winning, as he was the only one between the two who had a means of neutralizing his opponent's healing.
Man...these were some good memories. If you can find the Pokémon' Bridged version of the Cell vs Pokémon, it's much different from but still as enjoyable as the TFS one.

Funny thing is that given recent developments (recent in the manga at least) we actually have a pretty good idea who would win in a fight of Perfect Cell vs Saitama. If Cell can't manage to put Saitama down *very* quickly he stands no chance.

As much as people want to argue about the Saitama vs (insert Dragonball character) I think the main issue with that argument is that they take destruction and fights quite differently. In OPM it's realistic in it's destruction, like, if you had people with powers like they do, THAT is the devastation they would cause. While it DBZ, it's more about the thrill of the fight and then learning about each other through it. People *severely* underestimate how powerful the DBZ characters are. Think about it, Roshi in OG Dragonball blew up the Moon. His power level was like 100 something around that time. Now look at how powerful the characters are NOW in Super. I also think it's a writing flaw on Toriyama's part because...hot take: he's not actually a good writer 😐
Power levels flew out the window after Cell, honestly. Nothing but plot convenience can explain how Roshi and Tien were holding their own in the ToP, given how at Super Saiyan Blue, Goku and Vegeta were having the fight of their lives on multiple occasions.

In the last fight of the manga (for now) he got so powerful that sneezing wiped out the entire atmosphere right off of Jupiter. In shorter terms, if they fought it'd be a long fight that would *probably* have lead to the earth's destruction.
