Channel back story:
A Software Developer from this village who got tired of corporate bs and discrimination turned towards his ancestry where his family was known to cook for functions. Everyone in the video are his family. Grandfather, cousins.. like that.
They started small and found a break when they did their first giant meal. They have continued from then. The developer guy is the one behind the camera. He has learnt filmography from TH-cam and from the beginning he has skilled up a lot.
PS. They have a very weak network coverage over there and they have to wait hours to upload their videos.

South India is not only advanced in terms of infrastructure and science giving us great organization like ISRO and HAL, but also has not forgotten its roots.

lemon juice and curd is to soften the mutton and allow it to take flavors from the indian spices which are strong.. More than their cooking , read their backstory and it just humbles u to the core

Yes Jaby and Achara. They all are brothers. Every one in that video is highly educated like from PhD holders to Gold medalist in Agricultural degree. They have no sufficient internet facility to upload a video. It takes them 2 hrs to upload. They never use artificial food and blenders. Every dishes are hand made. They are just beginners in video and audio . They all are farmers and they feed the poor regularly.👍
Lemon being acidic helps to tenderize the mutton. Curd serves the same purpose. It helps in cutting down the cooking time & also making the mutton soft & juicy 🙂

About Achara's reaction at 3:53 - Biriyani is and can be get cooked in several different ways. This is how it is done in Tamil Nadu, which is different from how it is made in Hyderabad or in Kerala or how it is done in the North. In fact, sometimes within these regions there are different recipes.
Jaby about the mic: Unidirectional shotgun mics can be attached directly to the camera, facing the same direction as the lens. The mic will pic up the sound from only where it's pointed at. The caveat being, the subject has to be framed at the centre.

I had similar issue handling the meat, but then saw a documentary, tribal people handling their slaughter; although look unpleasant, but the reply from the tribal man was epic: Give due respect to food by handling it with love and touch as it die for you not with the uggggg look

Banana leaves are rich source of polyphenol oxidases which is good for health. Since it dissolves only in heat, the leaves are used as plates and hot food can absorb it.
The team is very philanthropic. Whenever, whatever they cook they always feed to the orphanage or the old age homes.

Hi Jaby and Achara the curry that they poured with Biryani is called "Dhalcha" a traditional lentil curry made with Mutton and Brinjal which are served with Biryani and its a famous dish in South Tamil Nadu.
Along with mutton biryani the white item is called pachidi it consists of curd, coriander leaves, green chillies, onion. This is very good combination to eat with biryani.

@Achara. That is not a chutney but a lentil curry called dalcha. Dalcha are made with lentil base and with lots of vegetables. Dalcha by itself is a vegetarian curry. The guy said it's "kattrika dalcha" meaning brinjal(aubergine/egg plant) lentil curry. For non vegetarian, you can have lamb dalcha or chicken dalcha but usually more bones of the meat respectively is used to give the flavored taste. The white kind of chutney you see is "vengaayam thairu chutney" or onion curd chutney. I hope this clears your questions. The language spoken is Tamil and is my mother tongue.
