I love her! She is a phenomenal actress. When Im watching her I forget Im watching an actress & Im taken into the scene with her. Not a lot of actors do that these days. She deserves both Emmys
I was thinking the same thing. When the viewer no longer sees the actors but the characters, they’ve mastered their craft.

Ruth is the only character on Ozarks that you actually root for
I feel the same way! Hollywood has a problem with unlikable characters - there are so many shows and movies where I don't like a single character, and I don't need every show and movie to be a gritty reality drama about A-holes, or a Marvel comic with shallow archetypes posing as people.
I would have never guessed in a million years that she was from the Bronx! Okay I had to look it up and I pretty much guessed she must have lived near Riverdale which is a more exclusive area of the Bronx closer to Westchester County.
She’s brilliant. Wish the man would let her talk rather than interrupting as soon as she starts answering his questions

Ruth langmore is one of the greatest characters of all time. She was so believable, and unique, and never dull.
Ruth reminded me of Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad
Emmy-worthy acting from this talented young lady.
I felt like she was a bit shy and kinda awkward at the beginning, but then when she started acting, she became so confident (and rightly so) and really charismatic, it was incredible
Fun fact is that she actually started to take acting classes at the age of 15 to overcome her shyness. So it's really acting that helped her build some sort of confidence so that's amazing

What she did in Ozark was simply spectacular. Ozark owes us all an apology for how they handled her character. Truly a talented actress.
I think it was her fate to die like that. She knew what she was getting into by avenging Wyatt’s death. I possibly cannot think of any other way.
They don’t owe Ruth anything. Girl had it coming for a long time.
The ending was sad but perfectly realistic and a reflection of society.... life ain't fair... only to those rich and in power. The show was a perfect representation of that.

I´ve managed to watch "Inventing Anna" just because of her (I think the show was waaaay overlong). She is really good. If she really plays Madonna it´s possible that she gets an Oscar (the Academy loves a cosplay).
They should have cut the first two or three episodes, non?
I'm looking forward to see her as Madonna, the one thing that's my concern is the fact that Madonna is writing and directing her own movie. I mean it's her life, she knows the history but she doesn't have a filmmaking experience, so i'm afraid she's not gonna use Julia's talent properly. I'm ready to be wrong because Julia is fantastic and she deserves great projects

I was the last kid in kindergarten to figure out how to tie my own shoes (although I had a crush on the teacher, so I wasn't highly-motivated to have her stop helping me).
having worked professionally as an actor, most actors have had acting training,in an acting school. I know Garner did. That said, not every actor can do that on the spot on a talk show. If it was me, I'd shy away from doing a real character I did, and then mimicking that on a talk show. Streep isn't that good on the spot in real life. She was on Ellen Degeneres show once. Ellen was doing a game where meryl picked from a hat a country, then do the accent, and Ellen had to guess. And all accents from characters she's done. She wasn't that good, and felt uncomfortable doing it. I've done accents, but can't just jump into it. All actors are different. Streep was once asked is there any one role more difficult than the other. She said it's all about working on it, so no. But what's difficult is talking in front of the public , as herself. I''m the same way. But then there are the Julia Garner's, Robin Williams, Tracy Ullman's....who can on the spot jump from one character to another
Julia is so talented that in front of one of the best character comedians she can easily shift into different accents and get laughs. Amazing!

She's so pretty and relatable. You rarely see anybody famous who hasn't had a nose job and without veneers. She's just a natural beauty and I hope she keeps her natural features. They really suit her.

The breakout star of Ozark. I knew the Laura Linney and Jason Bateman would be phenomenal. But Julia Garner is incredible.

The depth she brought to the role reminded me of Maisie Williams as Aria in GOT. They, are birds of a feather to be sure and insanely talented in part because of the work they put in to the role.

Gotta admit, I only watched Inventing Anna for Julia because she was so great as Ruth in Ozark.
