@@MaqsVids Yeah!! I got a mk4 1,6 1999 and looking forward to change my parkingbrake Cable! Just waiting for it to arrive and found your fun and excellent video! Have a good one cheers from Sweden!
I jack it up on the transmission just to the right of the oil pan. I place a wood block between the jack and the transmission on the lowest point. It's kind of flat. It works well. I am able to place both front jack stands this way. I'll show it the next time I do it. And "gonebergers" ....I have to use that.
@@MaqsVids thanks in advance if you managed to put jacking location in your next vid (: i kinda only watch the mk4 stuff (cause i own one) but really like your presentation!
@@MaqsVids awesome thanks, I just got my hands on an MK4 golf and looking to do my own maitanance on it but was confused on best ways to get that puppy up on jackstands. Thanks for the help!
Instructions and guide, excellent.
Thanks!
I thought it was more difficult. Now I know I can do it
Good quality and very good instructions 👌🏾
Thanks a lot! If you have a MK4 (or any car for that matter) that you are working on, good luck!

Do you have to replace the calipers? I think my mechanic ripped me off
You only have to replace the calipers if there's a problem with them. It could have been seized. It could have been fine.
where are you jacking the back of the car from?
There is a tow point/loop. I'm not sure what you call it. But it is a horizontal ring attached to the frame under the rear bumper.

Is it easy to push the guide tubes back in through the grommets?
It's not hard at all. They slide right in.
@@MaqsVids OK thanks 👍 👍
