Loved the video. Shane do you have a video or can you do a video how you setup your side surrounds as you mentioned having two rows. Did you split the side surround signal into two and just outputted them to the amps?Did you have to configure time delays differently per row and what was your method. I never really saw anyone do a video for adding multiple rows of sides. Just wanted to see how you connected them. Great video and enjoy your speakers.

Was this because of the mounting options of the speakers? Or they sounded better there? The reason I ask is because I have 4 overhead speakers and am planning my next steps. I am trying to decide on whether it is worth it to add height speakers or not along with left and right wide speakers?

Whats the difference between speaker like these vs like high end paradigm towers or from kef or something? I have enough room on front wall for the LCR setup. My space is 24 by 14. Ceiling is 7.5 feet high
Spot on review! That perfectly captures my experience with them too. That AMT is my favorite tweeter I've heard. I appreciate the honesty about the phase plug chuffing, but as you said, cross them over to the subs to eliminated the con, and you've got a very robust and excellent sounding speaker that's hard to beat in that price range.
Having same speakers throughout is the ultimate! Congrats on finding a speaker that you were willing to buy 18 times! That will definitely be my final and toughest purchase decision.
Love the new setup, amazing use of space and looks fantastic!!! Where is that 21”? I went with the 831 LCR and 821 sides, 661 rears, 815 atmos, but that bed layer you have probably sounds so immersive! Congrats on the new theater setup!

My main worry with flush mounted speakers is that they might vibrate during low end sounds and cause a buzzing sound against the wall. How is this prevented in your case?

Hi XudenGroupLLC, this particular AMT has very good horizontal and vertical dispersion with the vertical being only 10 degrees less than the horizontal. In extremely off axis cases it would matter slightly, but in Shane's case, he's not missing a thing.
I ask because I'm looking at both Ascendo and RBH, so I'd like to know your thoughts if you could be so kind to describe the advantages of the RBH over the Ascendos
@@therealshanelee thx they just seem to have much better bass extension and angled tweeter. in ur room the tweeters are WAY off axis for surround duties. and cos the speakers are close ur not at tweeter height with no tilt so ur relying on off axis sound in a vertical dispersion pattern. this is not going to give ideal sound.

He said it's the best tweeter he's experienced and he shared some bad news, he wants to replace his beloved LCRs with more Impression speakers. (He wasn't going to replace them). Yeah, man, you're getting a little too good at this shit (class act) Personally, I've always been under the illusion that there's speakers for HT, and there are speakers for two channel stereo. Perhaps I'm wrong? Mind you, it's only when I move my stereo speakers away from the boundary of nearby walls that I'm able to take advantage of a full-on soundstage! Not forgetting the presentation of an enhanced holographic image, too.
@@nicolasben-fredj8162 it's different for every movie. But everyone should know when the volume becomes uncomfortable to just back it down. Your hearing is more fragile the older you get. Don't worry about the db.
It’s amazing how much louder you can listen when your speakers are capable of ‘clean’ high output spl. Listening fatigue creeps in when your speakers start reaching their upper limits.
I was at MWAVE and didn’t think they were bright. I also heard the freestanding version of this speaker in a 2 channel demo and they sounded phenomenal.
@@XudenGroupLLC Those 2 rooms and Ascendo were very good and went back and forth on different aspects in my opinion. Hard to even rank them and you also have to consider that all were in non ideal rooms.
I wish RBH or someone else had done a smaller more attainable system like this at MWave. JVC projector with these RBH would have motivated more people to go home and duplicate.
We did have the budget 85-i towers on display for music, they do excel at movies too. If you didn't get a chance to hear them, we apologize. They were a hit.

They sit on fabric wrapped insulated wall panels. Some are on swivel brackets.

If money is no problem get the Perlisten. Otherwise get the RBH. You won't be disappointed.

Depends on the tweeter. There are amazing soft domes that sound like AMT’s and vice versa.

I believe there are HT and two channel speakers too. Not everyone agrees but oh well.

@@nicolasben-fredj8162 it's different for every movie. But everyone should know when the volume becomes uncomfortable to just back it down. Your hearing is more fragile the older you get. Don't worry about the db.
It’s amazing how much louder you can listen when your speakers are capable of ‘clean’ high output spl. Listening fatigue creeps in when your speakers start reaching their upper limits.
Surprised u went with Rbh. A LOT of people who went to mwave said the RBH room speakers were too bright.
I’ve had a lot of speakers in my place. They’re definitely NOT bright.
RBH at MWAVE was my second favorite room. Didn't sound bright at all.
I was at MWAVE and didn’t think they were bright. I also heard the freestanding version of this speaker in a 2 channel demo and they sounded phenomenal.
Grimani then RBH in my opinion! JTR was like an amusement park ride. Excessive, but fun.
@@XudenGroupLLC Those 2 rooms and Ascendo were very good and went back and forth on different aspects in my opinion. Hard to even rank them and you also have to consider that all were in non ideal rooms.

I wish RBH or someone else had done a smaller more attainable system like this at MWave. JVC projector with these RBH would have motivated more people to go home and duplicate.
We did have the budget 85-i towers on display for music, they do excel at movies too. If you didn't get a chance to hear them, we apologize. They were a hit.
I first heard of RBH when I first started looking for speakers for my theater back in 2013. I went with another brand instead.
