Next project should be a motorbike something retro or retro looking ( Honda cub, Cafe racer, bobber) can use it for a new concept of branding and branching out to motorbike scene. Even if it's a 50cc or 125 can ride it on L plates with a cbt and can make a series of it. Getting the bike done and getting your cbt

Love all the videos as always, after 9 years of watching you guys (from the start of riding the bmx’s and webisodes to the last few years of building cars and taking sick trips away with the lads) it’s so cool to see how things have changed overtime!
As I’ve grown into an adult with a fascination around cars, vans, bikes etc it’s mad watching you guys continue to put out content I always get gassed to watch like I did all them years ago! 🙏🏼
I know you guys always do cars etc but it would be SICKK to watch yous get a van and camper it out where you lads can take it on trips for some adventures!
I know you have the defender which I love and have always want to own too, but I think a bmx, mountain bike camper where you guys can take it away on trips and film along the way would be so cool!

Only thing to make it look mint now would be some fresh headlights, could polish your current ones up I suppose, but then you end up doing it every year, think it takes off the UV coating. Surprisingly, looks like a new pair isn't too expensive.

Done the same job on my 250k golf at Christmas! All combine stuff very happy, inner and outer tie rods, arms, drop links and anti roll bar bushes! It drives like new again
Suzuki Jimny build!!! Get a standard 1 then modify and challenge your defender and see what is more capable off road
Drill and cable tie your jacking point covers on from underneath no risk of loosing them or been pinched
Love this Passat
Admire the persistence with the arm bolt! Next time it’s easier just loosening the subframe bolts, the the frame swing down a little bit and the bolt comes out. Saves attacking the mounts from above ! Keep up the vids ❤
They were 4 bolts away from an easy job 😂
the subframe bolts are stretch bolts, and we didn't fancy going to VW for new ones haha
@@boqer123Bet you wish you just went and got those stretch bolts now 🤣
@@boqer123for future reference, remove the dog bone mount and use a jack to rock the whole engine and gearbox backwards, if you had a manual you would be able to get the bolt out no issue. It's because you have the dsg. I had the same issue on my Skoda Superb, your also lucky the bolts going into the subframe which Andy commented on the dusty threads, that's because it's dissimilar metals going into eachother. They are very prone to snapping and then you have to replace part of the subframe, the ex had that issue on his leon
@@boqer123 so are the engine mount bolts, arm bolts, rear bush console bolts lol
Build the 107 as a BQR liveried race car, could really go wild on the design and then its marketing as well as a cool build
Next project should be a proper cheap slam project! All these “chop the springs and put it on nice wheels” comments need to come to form, maybe a big ol barge?

I seriously relate on finding that bumper. I was looking for a replacement OEM grille for my RS3 (mine was cracked when I bought it) and it took me 7 months to get one. A saga isn’t even the word for the shit I went through.
I ended up getting an OEM brand new one on eBay from Slovakia of all places 😂

Another thing going forward, you should change your oil filter and then drain the oil, as the filter will empty and drain when removed prior
That’s why I like the Skoda Octavia platform, it’s a little more easier to work on. Even that door tweeters just pop off and plug in without taking the door card off… 😂 But, sod all that just to get a bolt out. I’d imagine that’s even worse on an Audi…
I think an old slammed estate would be awsome to see you build, thinking something like an e34 or 190e 😎

Your next project should be turning passat into micro camper for a summer road trip hand delivering a piece of your merchandise to the farest away order from your unit.just burn hundreds on diesel to hand some tight sod a pack of 6 airfreshners.

Bitta future reference, don’t lower the car onto the wood, leave the car up and put the wood on a trolley Jack, it’ll act like a transmission Jack, so you don’t have work low down too 6:44

Next build? How about an E39 touring swapped to the X5 V8 engine and AWD running gear.
I was excited for VIP spec 7 series but that seemed to fall through, so maybe another VIP spec car on the channel!
You 100% need a 10/15m hose for that pressure washer. Game changer.

As a mechanic who works for VW you made that way harder than it needs to be. If you undo the dog mount you can rock the engine enough with a big bar to get the bolt out
As two non mechanics who don’t work at VW, we were always gunna make it harder than it needed to be 😂

Project caddy! You’ve got something to take on drift days for tools and tyres etc, and something to dump an Audi s3 lump in.
I’ll even lend a hand fitting the engine 😂
Its easier to drop subframe bolts to remove that bottom arm bolt saves a lot of hassle. On the next build id love to see a slammed pickup like a mazda b2500/ford ranger maybe.

Guys usually the subframe comes out on B6 Passats way easier to work on everything.

Next project car I'd like to see a sleeper shop van. Get a small van, I'm thinking Ford Transit Connect size, maybe facelift it with some car bumpers, spice the engine a bit with a tune and some casual upgrades, make it nice, and then slap a logo on the sides. Make it a parts hauler, merch hauler, bike hauler with some wheel clamps internally etc. I know you've got the Landy already but you could have a laugh with a little van and you've not touched that genre yet.
Failing that go all that and do this idea but with a Hayabusa-engined Bedford Rascal, fuckit 😆

To take wish bone bolts out which was blocked by gearbox you could’ve dropped sub on threads and push box forwards and remove bolt

I have B6 estate manual with 115k miles its absolutely lovely car I love driving it soooo much.
Something French N/A and budget turbo it yourselves.
The fun of working on something french will make for entertaining viewing.
Also I could hear when you drove the Passat after the service that your auxiliary tensioner is rumbling, might be worth replacing!
A Drift BQR BMX van huge engine is a must something a bit old school !!!!
