@@pequod1 Chrome trim is the tackiest thing possible. There's a reason why so many people wrap it in gloss or matte black. Chrome trim is a thing of the 2000s that just hasn't bit the dust yet.

Totally get you on the remap thing. I didn't really get tuning a 4 pot diesel until I bought my Mk6 Jetta CR140 recently.. DPF gutted, EGR blanked, mapped to 205bhp and 296lb/ft, loads of fun to drive and still gets 55-60mpg, mental!

Me too, my mam had a b5 back in Poland still says it was one of the most reliable cars she’s had. 4 years not a single problem with regular service. 1.9 tdi is a masterpiece of an engine. Respect my man bless.

New bumper looks ace, I’d change the door bottoms to silver, I think it will be a cleaner look, especially when you’ve changed the rear bumper

I don't know how it is in the UK but here in Austria and Germany it is goverment regulations to have Headlight washers if you have Xenon built in :)

The black on those doors break up that side surface quite nicely. wondering myself if the silver alternative would add volume to the side profile.

I noticed that your new front bumper doesn't have head lamp washers in it .as good as it looks as you have xenon head lights and this could cause you a problem when you next mot the car ,the washer is a key part for xenon head lights and with out it the tester could fail your car. Love the videos keep up the mods on the passat 👍

If the valve is still in place it's worth cleaning it or replacing it for a power pipe so you get better air flow, if it was throwing codes it's probably caked in carbon build up
I've got a Rline Passat 09 I've uprated mirror indicators front grille Matt black & rear badge. Cloth seats replaced with leather seats 😎.. Yours much better with Rline bumper etc oh change indicators back to clear ones 😉
You should turn USDM running lights on with the Carly unit! Amber running lights look sick on them cars
