    Beautiful! I bought the wraps in Thrive for my sausages. They are our new favorite, by the way! Now that I have them on hand, I will try these. They will be perfect for summer lunches on the go. Are they good the next day or should they be eaten right away? I found the sausages heat up great on the panini press when I use the grill feature.

    I love hummus in my rolls! Do you ever find the brown rice wrappers turn out extra chewy? I've almost choked on them a few times and have to make sure I chew them slowly and completely.

    Do you have a recipe for spring roll dipping sauce?

    These look so yummy, thank you for the video how-to! Do you think it would be ok to make these and store them in the fridge for a day, or so?

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rice wrappers will dry out in the fridge so if you make a bunch in advance be sure to store them in a sealed container and don't have them touching in the container as they might stick together. If the rice wrapper is dry you can moisten it by dampening your fingers with water and gently rub the spring rolls to moisten. Enjoy!

    Do you cook these in the air fryer after you roll them? They look great!

      No these are fresh Spring Rolls. I do have a recipe for air frying Crispy Spring Rolls on my blog. nutmegnotebook.com/2017/12/crispy-spring-rolls-vegan-gluten-free-oil-free-air-fried/

    Are you able to make these ahead of time and keep in the fridge?

    • @NutmegNotebook

      They are only good for about a day in the fridge - be sure to have them stored not touching so they don't stick together. They are really best eaten fresh as you make them.

      @@NutmegNotebook thank you for this recipe!! Hopefully I can find these wraps at my WF’s because I am FINALLY finalizing my menu (that I’m taking) for Thanksgiving. Because we are eating outside this year, and we have to drive about an hour to our son and DIL’s house, I decided THIS recipe will be perfect to take for my main food item... everyone else can also enjoy these as an extra item on their plate. I like that I don’t have to worry about reheating them before we eat. I know this is not a typical choice for Thanksgiving, but it will compliment my son’s fish he is grilling, my DIL’s amazing kale salad, Shayda’s Wild Rice Stuffing recipe served in mini pumpkins and of course baked sweet potatoes.
      🤔 I’d like to also take some asparagus that is marinated so I can serve it cold... would you happen to have any suggestions for doing this?
      Thanks Tami for all your amazing videos and recipes to help us in our journey!!! I really appreciate you!!

    is the Jicama in this video raw? I'm not familiar with how to prepare it for eating.

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jicama is eaten raw just peel it and cut into sticks or dice it. You can also purchase it already peeled and cut into sticks at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.Be sure to subscribe to the blog if you haven't already. www.nutmegnotebook.com

      Thank you Jaz, we now use a professional tripod and mic system to prevent that bumping noise. also working on better lighting etc. you should notice an upgrade in our more recent videos. it certainly has been a learning curve.
      Happy Cooking
