I made this cheese sauce for dinner today. It was quick and easy with ust a few ingredients which I already had on hand (my favorite type of recipe). It was so delicious! I did purchase the Ezekiel corn tortillas which I cut into chips and baked in my oven. This cheese sauce will be included on my weekly meal plan. Thanks Nutmeg Notebook!
Hi Tami, THIS IS A KEEPER 👍🏻 I made your nacho cheeze sauce tonight. We love it. Out of all the cheeze sauce recipes I’ve made, yours is the best hands down! Thanks for sharing it. Also, I used your tip about making extra spice containers to save time for the next time I make it. Thanks for all you and Tom do to give back to your WFPB SOS free community.
Tami, I just made this chipotle cheese sauce and I LOVE it. I can’t thank you enough. I used one whole jalapeño because I didn’t have jalapeño seasoning. Otherwise I followed your your recipe exactly and I am in love. I will be making this every week.
Love the addition of the photos and all of the ideas for using the sauce, plus a few other of your great sauces! Great video thank you! Can’t wait to make the cheese sauce!
Been watching your channel for nearly a year now, so of course have heard about this sauce. Don’t know why it took me so long to try it, but finally made it yesterday after having seen all that deliciousness you made for your family in your live episode #108-so glad I did! Even with only 1/4 tsp of the chipotle and no jalapeño for my SUPER wimpy palate, it’s EXCELLENT and SO low-fat and easy and economical to make! Adding it to my weekly rotation! Thank you so much for sharing, Tami (and sometimes Tom!) ❤️
I am not found of cheese sauce. Yesterday, I decided to try and test the Chipotle Nacho Cheeze Sauce. I replaced the Jalapeno pepper with a dash of Gochugarru Pepper (Korean) and I found the Chipotle Nacho Cheeze Sauce palatable and interesting. It also refrigerates very well. I plan to cook this WFPB Cheese Sauce again. Thank you, Tami!
@@NutmegNotebook, really for me it is a great recipe! I used to love classic cheese (many types) but not cheese sauce (ha ha)! This one is wonderful to spread on veggies, legumes, etc. Thank you.
@@liseranger7753 It really makes me so happy that you like the recipe. Cheese is one of the hardest things for people to give up when they go plant based. So when you find a substitute that you like it’s a great day! Happy cooking!
Hi! I have all the ingredients to make this recipe but I was not able to locate chipotle chili powder. I do have regular chili powder and also ancho chili pepper. What would you suggest as a replacement? I cannot wait to try this recipe. Thank you.
Hi Tami! I will definitely give this recipe a try! I do not have an air fryer, so at what temp and how long should I cook the corn tortillas in the oven? Love your channel, and I so enjoy your Sunday live videos with Tom 🥳
Lula Mamie you will have to experiment with your oven and brand of tortillas. I would start with 325 - 350 degrees and watch them closely so they don’t burn.
Thank you for sharing this Tami! 💗 As soon as I come off my juice fast I think this will be one of the first things I make 😉And good news I can get jalapeno powder in Aust. 😀
@@NutmegNotebook Thanks Tami, I'm on Day 62 and have lost 50lbs so far, but WFPB is what I'm working towards afterwards. :) Love watching both you and Tom, thank you for all your video's.
Kylie Ky you can try it without the oats, maybe use some sweet potato, quinoa flakes or cooked rice in place of it. You may need more water - just experiment and see what works best. Maybe cut the recipe in half initially until you have it figured out.

Hi tammy could i use raw carrots for this recipe?
No they should be cooked until soft.
Can you use quick oats instead of rolled oats?
Marsha Myers yes!

???? TAMMIE WHAT BRAND CORN TORTILLAS DO YOU BUY, I CAN ONLY FIND THEM WITH LARD, OIL, ECT. THANKS YOU ????
Mi Rancho organic, I find the small ones at Whole Foods and the full sized ones we get from Costco
Nice music, guys! 😂
Thanks. Tom matches music genre to the food when he can when editing the videos.
This must be really spicy hot.
Why do you spell CHEESE as CHEEZE with a Z?
"Cheeze" sauce is often used in the plant based food community to differentiate from dairy cheese
are you "ThatVeganTeacher" On tiktok?
No, we are not on TicTok
