PALWORLD Plagiarism Judged By Knuckles (Tier List)

- It's no secret that there is solid evidence to show the similarities between Pals in Palworld and Pokémon. (And some others, such as the Moomoo Meadows Cow from Mario Kart, or Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro.)
The big question though, is how similar are they REALLY and is there enough evidence for them to get sued by Nintendo or GameFreak for this?
In this video, I have broken it down into tiers in a tier list format, ranging from ITS ILLEGAL, to it actually being an original and good idea!
Also idk why but decided to use the Knuckles meme to express it, don't ask, don't be all weird about it...
This ranking is completely opinion based, do not take it too seriously :) although there are a lot of clear ripoffs lol.

I’m calling bull on Teafant. How else do you expect them to make a cute elephant Pal? Its gonna end up looking like Phanpy at least a bit. Even then, the designs are pretty different. Also Melpaca and Flaafy are hardly similar. Really? Just the color scheme? They aren’t even the same animal! Same with the Eikthydeer and Xerneas comparison. They are based off of the exact same thing. Of course they are gonna look similar. (I will admit this claim is a lot more loose than the others though.) Plus, calling Pyrin a Rapidash ripoff makes no sense. They are based off of two completely different things. Pyrin is a Kirin. On an opposite note, Katress literally has Mismagius’ hat. It isn’t entirely fre yet.
Honestly, the only ones that I think are genuine comparisons are Verdash, Cremis, and Fenglope. The rest either just have a similar color scheme (like Tocotoco and Robinquill), they have the same overal feeling (like Incineram and Orserk), or they are just based on the same thing (like Anunis, Tanzee, Grintale, and Pyrin)
Azurobe gets a pass because it looks completely original on its own, even if they do have similar features to Primarina and Serperior
The Shiny Luxray and Mewtwo comparisons aren't even in the game, so I'm not going to address those
I know some designs are supposed to be parody, but damn they are not subtle with the plagiarism lol
Blazamut doesn't look like or seem to be inspired by a Pokemon... because it looks inspired by Final Fantasy. Its name is from the summon Bahamut and its design looks like a cross between a Behemoth and Ifrit.

Some of the comparisons you made are complete stretches that came out of nowhere and don’t look similar at all (killamari, tocotoco, daedream, etc.). Then there’s creamis.
