Thumbs down are western movie haters.
Awesome
Well they removed the dislike button so at least those horrible western haters have been hidden from society!
@@FilmsadoCrew True! I like that they did it. So many trolls out there had their fun ruined.😁
@@ArizonaGhostriders It really removes a lot of negativity from the platform.
They only hate em cause they ain’t seen em
“Bowie Knife” is my kinda guy!
He's a sharp fella.
@@ArizonaGhostriders good one haha I see what you did there. Take care Santee I’ll see ya on the next one.👍
Fantastic outfits! And, ol’ Dirty Dan sure does clean up… on the outside 😉
Oh yes!
If there's one show that is trying to bring the spirit of the old west back, it's the Arizona Ghost riders.
If Sam Elliott was on the set with Santee and the rest of the crew, it probably be the proudest moment.
That would be.
I think Arizona Ghostriders need to talk to Taylor Sheridan about being on Yellowstone 1883.
@@jamesa.7604 I'd probably vouch for Santee and the rest of the crew to be on it. But I won't. I watched the trailer and Tim McGraw in a scene from it said a cuss word. I can't imagine Santee saying the f word.
me too!
When I was a War Between The States Re-enactor, although I couldn't do it the group I was in took part in Gettysburg. It's great to see it spreading to other areas of films. I won't have to go to Confession as much after watching a historical piece.
Cool!
Some of the guys in my regiment, 1st North Carolina Volunteers/11th Regiment NC Troops, also took part in that one and several more.

While I have always loved the elegance of the Victorian era I don't think I could ever get use to the idea of wearing a corset underneath my dress. I remember reading that some women even slept in their corsets in order to achieve "the perfect 18-inch waistline". Not me! I truly appreciate a good night's sleep! Thanks for another great video, Santee!
LOL! Much appreciated!
The propped up cellfone camera falling over during a shot....classic. It has happened to all of us.
Yeah!! I even filled it with tea to make it heavier. Didn't help. Now, if it had been REAL whiskey, that'd done it!
Warms my heart to see people come together to keep History alive
Much appreciated!
Really great lookin' bunch and all enjoying the Old West atmosphere. Nothing makes an impression nor brings a smile to your face like period and/or Hollywood costuming.
Much appreciated!
Since I was a teenager I have worn a fedora and my pants have button on suspenders (NOT alligator clips!). Even my great grandfather born in 1881 said I was an "old" soul. Some of the movie "42" was filmed in Chattanooga, TN. I was in a coffee shop and a lady asked if I was trying out for a part as an extra? I said, "No. Why?" She said because of my "costume". My reply was it was not a costume it is what I wear everyday. I became an instant extra in the movie.
So cool!
Glad to hear the set is back up in use, hopefully for many many more adventures. Being a farm kid, I love the look of the old west clothing especially the dusters, frock coats, etc. Can be a challenge to find some of that stuff up here in Canada (especially at a decent price) but they do make you stand out.
Thank you!
Try second hand stores for dusters. If you know some one that sews, there are lots of period patterns on line. Again thrift stores are good for old fabrics that can be repurposed or yard sales too. I've made lots of costumes out of old heavy drapes for instance. Fur collars off old winter coat can be useful too.
@@Rags2Itches Don't see a lot of dusters in my area for some reason(other than the Aussie oil skins) but I have managed to get some good deals online. Got 4 right now so I am going okay but yeah, I might need to learn to sew and make a few things.
Dirty Dan cleans up real good!
He does.
I have GOT to get out there someday! I would love to walk around there and feel the movie history. I wouldn't mind helping with the restoration work either. Great video Santee!
Thank you! Look froward to your visit.
Mr Santee, no one wears a costume better than you do. See you on down the trail. Your pard, Kid Tumbleweed 🤠
Thank you! Very nice of you to say.
Hey! I know Bowie Knife, Saphire Rose AND Sarsaparilla Joe. We run into each other at a "local" dance hall/saloon in Long Beach, CA. Infact, Bowie just wore that exact hat the other night and told me that crazy story behind it. He's a great guy and always a pleasure to talk with.
Very cool! They are terrific folks.
Dan cleans up nicely. Almost didn't recognize him.
Right?
Thanks again Santee & Co . Everyone there is looking good in western attire .
Our pleasure!
I know a reenactor who 'shot himself' in a movie. Playing multiple characters, in one scene as a Union soldier, through miracles of editing, shot a Confederate soldier who he also portrayed. Of course at distance it was impossible in the final edit to realize it was same guy.
5:08 Tea, apple juice, and ginger ale substitute for whiskey and beer
I wondered what they used on set. Thank you for sharing that bit of Hollywood with us.
LOL! I heard once that they gave John Wayne real whiskey on set, which isn't allowed. He drank it, did the scene, then scolded the folks who did it.
You did a great job as one of my gunfighters in my saloon scene for GERONIMO'S REVENGE... ..Job well done....
Thanks, Mario!
Good morning santine. This is Ted from Texas. I am just getting ready to go to the new western frontier period in other words my Harley-Davidson dealership I work at. Just like the old west. Harley-Davidsons are part of a legend. Definitely enjoyed the show with my friend. I hope one day we shall meet.
Iron horses are western, man! Welcome to the channel.
You are so lucky. I can't wait to see this short. You're just nothing but fun. Thanks Santee
Thank you!
The old west clothes look awesome!
Much appreciated!
Thank you for the sneak pic
of the film Santee. And the illustrious flawless Dan.
Glad you enjoyed it. "Flawless?"
Wow, Dan. Did you read that?
That did look like a lot of fun and I had fun watching it even though I wasn't there. What a great bunch of people. Thank you. 🤠🌵
Much appreciated!
Great video Santee! Ol Dirty Dan Cleans up pretty good. Nice hat Dan!
Yep!
Good Morning Santee,
Another fine informative morning & another enjoyable video! Thank You!
Thank you!
i love watching vids about Tombstone and Mescal. Thanks for doing these.
Glad you like them!
Some fine and spiffy garb and costuming. I envy ya'll bein' close enough to do that sorta thing, and I admire ya'll keepin' it alive. God Bless!
Thank you!
Looks like my kinda town. I might need to pull in for a whiskey next time I'm passing through trackin' desperados! Lol
Sounds good!
This was so cool. The wardrobes were so amazing. I didn't realize some of the actors/actresses supplied their own clothing. 🤠👏🌞
Thank you!
Looks like y'all had a great time. Thanks for showing this. You and Dan clean up nice! Cheers Santee!
Thank you!
It was good to see Clean Dan!
Awesome video Santee cool to see the old Town come alive again 😎 Where was your Cigar 👊 Keep up the Awesome work
👍👍👍👍👍🤘👊🤠
🦅🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🦅
Thanks! Since I had lines in the saloon, I decided to forego the cigar this time....sad, eh?
I reinacted the Civil War battle of Perryville Ky., Just to get period_correct Uniform, weapon, all the Kit needed was expensive, but, I thoroughly enjoyed that experience!! Love your videos Santee!
Cool!!
This channel is on the wholesome part of TH-cam and I love it. You have made information about anything old west available in a format that is suitable for all ages. Dirty Dan is just such a loveable character.
Keep up the good work, Santee. And keep rocking that awesome mustache!
Thank you!
Looks like a great day spent on a nicely restored movie set. So glad to see it getting used again. It's also good to hear Dan is keeping it dirty on the inside ...... I think ??? Thanks for the tour.
Thank you!
nice that they fixed the place back up boy Dirty Dan looks different in those fancy clothes
yep
Just a great video. Hats off to everyone for keeping the old west alive. Yeee Haaaa
Thank you!
DIRTY DAN YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!
Dan your not dirty no more!!! Your Fancy Dan now. :)
🥃
Can't wait to see the final product. Please keep us posted. You and Dirty Dan cleaned up real nice. Wish I lived out that way. Since I am an old Rebel, I would be proud to show up as a good ol' Rebel Outlaw. Someone has to play the good guy.
I like that idea, Eric! The old Reb!
The teaser is now on youtube, search, "Geronimo's Revenge Teaser"
Dirty Dan is looking killer sharp
Yes he is
Just up to Arrowrock Mo for their Christmas event. It was cr 1830, two of us just returned from Santa Fe trail, we had gents playing games of chance at the Huston Tavern, carolers, a family having Christmas at Caleb Bingham’s house. A frontier lawyer and judge at the courthouse and assorted frontier types wandering the town causing all manner of mayhem😊
Sounds fun!
Great to hear they're doing well, Santee.
Enjoy that whiskey before Bill snatches it away.
Also, a brilliant disguise by Dirty Dan. No one would suspect a thing! *:D*
HAHA! Thanks.
Santee and Dirty Dan were both looking right spiffy! Dan's gonna have those ladies chasing after him ifhe don't watch out!
Sanntee's in wardrobe. Ah, that explains his wooden acting! ( I'll get my coat)
Dirty Dan will show you out.
Great video Santee , thanks for showing us around. . Dirty Dan cleans up pretty well.
You bet
Good morning Santee! I got to catch this early!! Wow love that man’s hat!!
Thank you!
Santee! "The Mortar Merrier" good one!! I enjoyed the episode, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
...the mortar merrier...I spit coffee on my keyboard over that...
Glad you saw that!
Fantastic wardrobe display! Would love to have had a more in depth interview with Bowie Knife and had a look at the blades. Maybe next time. Good one Santee!
Yes, next time.
T-Rex is definitely a BIG motivateder
😄 great vid watching all does reanactors! Have a great weekend
Thanks! You too!
Great one. Enjoyed it a lot. Thank you all for sharing what look like a great time 🤠👍 Keep them rolling to us.
You're welcome.
If I knew floozies from California were hanging out on movie sets, maybe I 'd get me an outfit
You should.
What an awesome place!!
Yep
Very good video. William Chandler- C.D. / 2nd A.D. For James Aldridge, " Producer, director and writer of Geronimo's Revenge",
Good job on the film, fellas.
Now this is VERY unrelated but. Honestly I'd just like o thank y'all. It's because of channels like the arizona ghost riders, shows such as gun smoke, and films such as Unforgiven that I was inspired to write Westward riders. Not just as a tribute to actual historical old western life, but as well as a tribute to western film, TV, books and more. So please understand I mean this more honestly then ever when I say "Thank you." If not for you I wouldn't have even thought about writing the first of these books.
Much appreciated!
Another great video. I shall definitely be watching the background actors from now on. 😎🏴
Please do!
Thats awesome, keeping the old west alive!
Much appreciated!
Gidday Santee really makes me miss my days on a set you meet amazing folk..had to laugh at 1881 water bottle, amazing looking costumes that one older gentleman really did and an epic hat and set up..
In New Zealand you no longer can work on a film or any set without vaccine passport and I don't have the vaccine so had to part ways.
Have an amazing week mate
Thanks, yeah he did have an epic hat, right??
@@ArizonaGhostriders +Most definitely 🙂 I'd rock that hat stay blessed 🙂
always the FIRST video I watch every Saturday... and never disappoints
Thank you!
Looks like a blast!
It was
Will have to check for this film when it comes out.
We shall see,
Two places that always had my mind, the old west and colonial Australia, both were far removed from the mainstream, both had it hard, both had outlaws/bush rangers, both had gold rushes and the riff-raff that goes with them. I think the clobber of both places would be interchangeable. What I see here in your vids is the same as I see in Colonial Towns, think "Quigley Down Under".
Yes. I probably will do a comparison video one of these days.
Looking sharp Santee!!!
Thanks!!
Santee do one on the old west axes and loggers
Sure!
Dirty Dan looked mighty spiffy today
Yep
Great job Santee.
Thank you, Randy!
That was great. The outfits were amazing!
Thank you so much!
Looking forward to seeing this film. Retired gunfighter dealing with his past? Probably apropos to be cleaning my Ruger SP101 while watching. I still say a three inch version of that gun is right up your alley Santee. Hasta luego Compadre.
Thanks, amigo!
They know me all too well.. hahaha the ended was great. Good job man!
Thanks! Hope all is well.
The true moral of the Jurassic Park franchise holds true: "There is no problem that cannot be solved by throwing a T-Rex at it"
Correct
Looked like a lot of fun.
It was
This was an awesome project with great folks and an historical movie set.
It was and great to be on set with ya
Thanks for taking us inside the set and sharing some fun words from the actors. Merry Christmas Santee....... 🎄 🌵
Merry Christmas to you, too!
Very cool video as usual!
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a Great Show !!!!!!
Thank You!
As much as I hate to say this, it may have been appropriate to call him Dapper Dirty Dan. He does clean up good.
LOL!
Kind of funny you made this today. I was just talking with younger family members recently about acting and things related. I mentioned that when I was very young (when Rex was born/hatched TBH) I thought all actors had to bring all their costumes and everything to the set from home. Like they all had their Star Trek outfits at home in the closet including phasers and whatnot. Everyone thought it was funny/cute how silly I was. Now here you are telling me I was right all along and these actors all brought their own clothes from home. *Mind Blown.* Also it was nice to see Dirty Dan can clean up nice when he has to.
Thanks for sharing this video on here. Have a good Saturday, and be safe out there man. 😎
Thank you, Dsdcain!
There seems to be a problem with this video,…. Too short. But always good .👍
Given that the average watch time of my videos is 3.5 mins, the analytics would say it's too long. HA!
Awesome behind the scenes peek!
Thank you!
Thanks for another great video mate
Glad you enjoyed it
So glad to see the continuing work on Mescal, Hopefully it will live on forever!
I hope so too!
That is so awesome guys y’all are doing great please keep it up.
Thank you! Will do!
A great show as always Santee! From Western Australia
Thank you!
Dirty Dan is now Dapper Dan
Shhhhh! He'll get...ideas.
Fun stuff. Thank you Santee.
You're welcome.
The set looks great! Thanks for showing us around a little. Good to see Dirty Dan cleaned up a little!
You're welcome.
Didnt know that about the set thats very cool have a good weekend.
Thank you!
Very awesomely awesome and very fantastic informative and very inspiring video, I really loved and enjoyed it. Great job and well done on awesomely cool video, I so definitely got a ton of inspiration for how my characters in my story should look like and dress like, this video is just what my old West inspired novel series of interconnected novella stories needed.
Thanks so very much
You're welcome. Much appreciated!
@@ArizonaGhostriders thanks and your welcome 😎🌟👍🏼
I love to live in an old western town.
Be fun, wouldn't it?
Tell the Tombstone actors, "You were all just too high strung."
How cool it must be, being a part in, not only keeping the old west alive for others, but the internal enthusiasm.. We are still hoping to bring my father-in-law, who's also a massive old west fan, to that area..
Hope so!
Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much appreciated!
Thanks for sharing pal - very insightful.
You're welcome.
Another great episode. Look at all those smiling faces doing what they love. I'm working on a rattle snake sheath that would fit in on this set.
Oooo, that sounds like a fun project
Gotta say, Dirty Dan wasn't the only one who looked too clean. Have fun.
LOL!!!
Here’s a sample paragraph of the opening scene of my old West inspired sci-fi cosmic horror story I’m writing:
While at their camp in the northern Taimuriq tundra, Taymuras Vadim And his crew witnessed the sky split in two and columns of bluish and lavender light as bright as the afternoon sun streaked across the sky in the distance.
Not long after, Taymuras and everyone else in the camp felt a powerful shockwave, that collapsed every tent in their camp.
As that was happening, Zacaris Lukasi came running over to Taymuras from his post at a small out cropping of rocks near the edge of the EverDark tainted woods.
He had a look of panic and sheer horror on his face.
I hope you all like this opening scene of my story
🥃
@@ArizonaGhostriders thanks 😎🌟👍🏼
Very cool!
Thanks!
Thank you too!
Everybody's wardrobe looked great, and the Mescal set is really coming around too! Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
