Had/have NAFLD. Progressed to CANCER prior to even becoming Cirrhosis. After surgery I went to 85lbs. Am now 100 and can't seem to put more o the weight back on, needing to be 115. Exercising by way of working like crazy moving stuff, etc. Need to know what to eat to put the weight back on but not fatten my liver. SO much conflicting info from so many, and most videos are about loosing weight. You're a Godsend to so many. Thank you.

I looked this up to put weight on my husband. I took away all the junk because he has cancer for 5th time. Look up healthy fats. It IS helping. Nuts, avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil, fatty fish. The fat in these are also HEALTHY fats. And on this diet, the last CT was “tumor has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY”. Hope this helps.

Thank you, your information is invaluable. I have neuropathy which I am treating myself. It is largely thrpugh exercise, but diet plays a huge part too. My body uses energy differently from normal. My treatment is effective and ongoing. I am getting healthier. At 73 I walk a 5 mile round trip to the nearest town to do my shopping and enjoy it more and more. But what we eat and exercise are the foundations of my health.

What a charming and warm lesson. My husband had yellow eyeballs, the doctors said they couldnt find anything or that it was age-related (over 50), but we should avoid carbohydrates, they are poison for the body. We switched to keto and then your book recommendations, the eyes are very clear and white again. Thank you, you finally gave me confirmation of my suspicions.
Secondly: We found out about our daughters food allergy through your recommendation of a paleo diet. After she gradually started eating different things again, we were able to see immediately whether she reacted. She had really suffered and now she no longer has stomach pain. Thank you so much, your lessons should become compulsory for all doctors.

FYI - the 1st time I got the idea 💡 I put the baking soda in the pot in the beginning but it turned the water purple & caused the beans to soften too fast which meant there was no good flavored bean juice - yuk. 2nd FYI - I also use garlic onion + cumin in the beans - double yum 😋

I need to lose 90 pounds to get to my correct weight. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, and am on a statin for cholesterol. I am currently utilizing every recommendation that you have given, including the nightly fasting. I'll post as I lose this weight to let others know that it is working. I am convinced that it is doable because the bean intake is taking care of hunger very well. When I need a hot meal, it is spinach, mushrooms, peppers, onions with olive oil and cayenne, and fat free fake crab meat made from pollack. It is delicious. Most of the time it is a cup of three bean salad with black olives, sliced up grape tomatoes, a little tomato paste and balsamic vinegar with cayenne and garlic. Another delicious mix.. and it can be made up ahead of time to last days. For a snack I have a boiled egg without fat. The changes you recommend are easily sustainable. I have a few cups of sugar free black coffee with a chunk of sugar free 100% cacao melted into the pot each day, and it is again, a step up in deliciousness. I drink cold water often. This way of eating and drinking is gourmet quality; full of flavor. I highly recommend it to people like myself, who are recovering from the results of deep depression, which can cause, over many years, massive weight gain. Blessings and may this posting help others who are in the same condition, try this out.

@@jacqulynhilyard1561If you have ahat you mentioned i highly recommend blood work and ultrasound scan for fatty liver. Lpsing weight can reduce fatty Liver. However milk thistle supplement around 600mg and Choline can reduce fatty liver and improve liver blood markers. Most overweight people have a liver issue that needs cleaning with healthy foods plus some select supplements.

Would you consider listening to carnivore dieters and doctors who are telling people to eat fat to get healthy and that since statin drugs came to be heart attacks rise in number year after year that the drugs were being given out. People who eat a lot of fat get healthier in every area of their body ! Worth for you to consider . There are many TH-camrs and doctors talking on this but a good channel to start with is Steak and Butter girl, through her you will get a good list of doctors to hear out! My husband went on statins twice and his memory started to go within days and this is their side affect which seems to lead to Alzheimer’s according to some doctors. Your brain needs cholesterol according to doctors. Eat Fat is what they say we need to be healthy. I just am starting carnival diet but I also mix it with keto so I can eat vegetables but watching full carnivores eat us amazing and they are healthy now - mind you keto is healthy too . Please consider looking into it reading about your diet scares me .

I still wonder why doctors recommend eating animal liver when you have low iron ... What people need is methycobalamin and Iron Repair, which is a Heme source, from bovine spleen, made by Three Arrows.

You talked about cooking with olive oil. I thought that we shouldn't cook with olive oil because when hested it transforms itself into trans fat, especialy if high temperature. Is there any new scientific facts saying otherwise ?
Thank you for all of those interesting infos. It's very appreciated !

I understand that when extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) s heated it turns into a trans fat. So I understand that EVOO is only to be eaten cold-never heated. I understand that regular olive oil is to be heated, and that is what my household cooks with (or avocado oil). Is this not true? Is this old info that is bunk?

Eating 3 medium carrots a day “lowered the “risk” of developing metabolic syndrome by 58%”…. Per study in The Netherlands of 384 men between ages 40-80.
Metabolic diseases don’t happen overnight. I think using these stats from a small study- without reference to the actual study- is murky at best. It might very well be true (I hope it is!) but there’s no way that a small study- over a typical study period of time- would be able to make that statement.
Is there a place where we can find the studies you have mentioned-to see how long a time period was studied?

Organic carrots 🥕 full size? What about the various packaged carrots, like baby size, or already shaved down to bite size? Are the packaged less nutritional?

    • @joycebrewer4150
      @joycebrewer4150 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

😂 Baby carrots have been peeled as well as cut in half and reshaped. You lose the nutritious skin. I scrub mine with a vegetable brush, and slow running water before eating, or cooking. I do trim away blemishes, abrasions, and deep eyes where dirt can be impossible to scrub off.

Tenho uma pele sensível ja fui em varios dermatologistas do meu pais mais sem sucesso so passam cremes para amenizar.
Sinto como a pele esta inflamada e por nada saeem machas avermelhadas.
Isso me deixa terrivelmente triste.
