Thanks to your accidental removal of the 2 13 mm nuts and the whole shaft came out I was able to get my stuck axle off lol! Great video
Small tip. If you use a c clamp or even a muffler clamp around the end of the control arm, you can fit a big pry bar through it and brace it against the frame. It eliminates the possibility of damaging the ball joint.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Sure there were some errors but it saved me from making the same ones. Lighten up guys I've seen much worse. I kinda got a good laugh out of it.
THANK YOU! Video was very helpful. My CV assembly was frozen to the inner transmission axle. Using your method to remove the entire axle saved the day. With the axle removed, I was able to remove the CV assembly.
I have to change my transfer case on my 2005 Escape Hybrid, which is making a noisily bearing noise. I appreciate you taking the time to video the cv axel removal, and I learned a lot from your nice video. Thank you.
We all like to thank you for posting this video just motivating the terminating and you are dedicated we need more people like you
Thanks for taking your time to help. I really appreciate it!
The video was very helpful to me. Thanks for the information.I I do most of the work on my wife's Mazda Tribute and my Ford ranger. The Mazda Tribute's a Ford Escape and my Ford Ranger's a Mazda B3000!!!!
Should be titled "How not to remove the axle"
lol
Best video,thank you very much
This one was easy but most of the time Ford cars are very difficult to work with!
Some people are gonna hate... I will not.. David Acord, thanks for the info it was a 31 MM. This is a demonstration of what can happen. cause text book perfect repairs just are not usually the case... Roll with what happens. As an overview of what I am info, the was great material. And thank the all mighty for air tools.
Thank you for this video its of much help.. 😎👍🏻
You should have moved the lower control arm front lower Bolt and the outer tie rod and pivot to the rear of the vehicle and remove the axle. production!😁
Terrible video, right from the get go; Then we'll take off, uh.......... this bolt here
That's called an axle nut
It's called a spindal nut dumbass.
*Spindle
Is it the same for 2008
I cannot say 100%, got to be pretty similar. I would just watch the video and try to get under your truck and compare visually.
No, the specs change for 2004 and later models
why not just remove 2 bolts from strut and everything drops down out of the way no prying
Stephen McDaniel May it cause alignment problems afterwards?
Exactly how I did mine! No need to take off lower ball joint at all. I about lost my shit when I seen him rocking that car on the lift beating the shit out of it LMAO
Same car only this back 2 nut is 13 mm not 14 !!!
it is not a 32 mm socket it is a 31mm socket
+David Acord It's different depending on your car.
I worked on a 2005 ford escape doing the same job it was a 31 mm but god bless
Dude, take this video down. People are gonna ruin their cars. Doesn't matter if you update it. People might only watch the first parts and think they're good, and they'll miss the later parts where you correct yourself. Delete please
