    As a Tibetan these be the main points I’m taking from what Professor said:
    Tibetans position in India is precarious.
    Do not take India for granted: their position could change any time
    Do not take for granted any solidarity we receive from other countries
    Be self reliant
    Be vigilant
    React quickly (in cases like this)
    Stand up for yourself
    Thank you Professor

    Sir, you are absolutely right, especially about us Tibetan are very vulnerable in India, which always scares me, but still we Tibetan are very very grateful to India and Indian 🙏🏿🙏🏻

      @abhijeetkumar2204 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just because of NDTV you can't say you are vulnerable in India. Even being Indian Hindu i don't like NDTV baised coverage on hindus. They are leftist and communist ideology . And yes their workes weve funded by chinese. I don't know current status.

  • @kyss2024
    @kyss2024 ปีที่แล้ว +32

    Thank you for your support and honest feedback! Tibetans everywhere need to be proactive! NDTV must do a correction coverage on this issue! Ladakh has banned the channel but more importantly we must demand a correction coverage of the story so that majority of people who were initially influenced negatively have a chance to rethink on the matter. Thank you.

    Thujeche for your nuanced & balanced approach. What hurt the most was that a major Indian journalistic outlet was the first to propagate the misinformation, without any regard for due dilligence especially when Indian media outlets know they had full access to full context for over 40 days right there in India. The fact that they cashed in on our pain over seeking truth, really felt like a stab in the heart even far deeper than the persecution by the CCP, which we have come to expect.

    Absolutely true Professor Ji, we see the sincerity with which you are saying and how true you are to your self. You understood the whole situation of this episode from every angle, you even dove deep into the hearts of the Tibetans and know where His Holiness resides 🙏. Only with such a deep knowledge, can one be so precise, forthright and unbiased in his statement like you have stated in this video. Thank you so much! 🙏 We heard you & we’ll keep your advice in our mind.

    Thank you Dibyesh ji. I fully agree with your explanation. Yes it took us all in fact few days to even realize which impact it would have on us. We were first all in a state of shock and sadness and couldn’t deal with such unexpected situation. But unfortunately there was no reaction coming from the CTA leaders. So we were almost left alone. Finally when Jigme Ugen came out with an thoroughly investigated explanation we were then relieved and could understand more how to respond this incident. The protests worldwide in solidarity were mostly initiated by individuals and small groups and initially hardly organized by our leaders. That is one more the sad side of the story. But I was happy to notice that when it comes to the issue and reputation of our revered spiritual leader His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet the Tibetan people showed unity and all our differences were put aside.

    • @idharudhar5985
      @idharudhar5985 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lobsang la, True, that it took a few days for the Tib govt in exile to respond. When you mention that the world wide protests were intiated by local groups and not the leaders, it shows that the Tibetan central office was not forcing people to react, but rather it's a most democratic way that the Tibetan people worldwide organized to support their spiritual leader. If the central office passed a notice to organize rallies around the world they might be blamed for forcing people to coming out in support and to protest.

    He is absolutely correct. I am a Tibetan and I heard it first from my sister. I was numb totally. Didn’t even watch any video of it. Couldn’t get proper sleep 💤 I do night shift in NYC as a nurse. Day time I usually sleep but for few days I couldn’t do that even though I was so exhausted. Then when I finally watched wat was going against his holiness, tears kept rolling for days and days. Then finally gather some strength and then started protesting against that in social media. All his supporters supporting him should speak volume about wat his holiness is.

      I hope you are feeling better now and feel fortified by all the show of support for HH Dalai Lama. The truth prevails in the end. Countless people are already coming round to the truth of the matter. The only thing now is for the media broadcasters who were too quick to sensationalise this for viewings to now give an apology, or at least make an attempt to show the truth. That probably won’t happen but it doesn’t matter really. We all know the truth.
      Long live HH Dalai Lama and solidarity to the people of Tibet.

    Thank you for your video. Truth is it's hard times for us all. It's hard to force our elders to change their ways. The diverse social customs in the world are important to highlight for this situation. I apologise to the pain that Tibetans would have ahd to endure through these strenuous times. I cannot imagine how difficult this week must have been for The Dalai Lama and all the institutions he has funded, supported, set up. I appreciate the clarity you bring here. Posting it to Linked In and I hope many people post it forward as well.

    Everything you said is absolutely truth and extremely important for all Tibetans living around the world. In US, those far right wing medias and social media icons are against his holiness,including Megyn Kelly, Ben Shiparo, Joe Rogan, the comment section girl et al., all of them have criticized his holiness.
    I also agree with Tibetans to be self-reliant and be prepared.
    You also mentioned Tibet media house should have done better which also I agree. Thank you for your thorough research and investigation.

Ur each every word is guide for us ..god bless u to do something good like this in future for the needy….actually we know that we we r refugees in deep down our heart but we r helpless since cop is not ready to converse with our leader regarding our autonomous freedom…anyway Tibetan r always happy for kind n straightforward words n truthful words..
