I have a oil leak no my GTI gearbox. But I'm going to take the gearbox out. To do the job the right way. On Monday 2nd September 2024.

you need to support the car on stands. Using the jack on its own is dangerous.

Is it worth fixing an oil leak, or does that mean it's time to get rid of the car? If we have the leak fixed, will it generally last and not further damage the car?

9:51 what is the part to the right of the pipe in the middle , as I have oil coming from there but could also be above it any ideas
Sometimes the cheap gets the expensive so for these leaks I’ll just leave to a professional it’s less headache
