I just got scammed in egypt for basic tea for 80 pounds, i just left the tea and walked away, guy in end brought tea and settled for 30, it is everywhere, ppl need to have common sense, you are right on paris as well, pickpockets and scammers everywhere

Pakistani people are sharing those videos with apology and demanding arrest of those scammers. You won't find this around the world. Pakistani police was also very quick to act and arrested them.

Anyone who scams either with a foreigner or local should be warned by the police and this should be stopped.

I agree , there are 1000s of scams in Egypt since it’s one of the busiest tourists place . 99.9% Pakistanis have treated these bloggers very very good 👍 and they do admit that . Our nation is very emotional and don’t think on spot . But they did show a good sides of Pakistanis as being polite, helpful and caring
Also people start charging tourists as we go so many places in the world from England, none of the countries, none of the people said once, don’t pay it’s free . So don’t make them used to it , poor Pakistanis street vendors can’t afford it . If it was me , I would have paid them whatever they say .

I'm a fan of your videos but i have to disagree with you on this one. Yes, there are scams everywhere but when you've agreed a price of 200 rupees for a horse ride and then the owner demands 5000, this is not okay. I can go on a plane/luxury coach to a different city for that price, and you're saying its okay for a five minute horse ride? Not only did they refuse to take the actual money that was agreed upon, they were becoming aggressive and nearly became physical if the locals didn't intervene. On top of that they're not even Pakistani nationals. This is a good step from sindh police as it will make another scammer think twice before doing this to anyone else. If this behaviour is not stamped out as Pakistan is opening up for tourism, it will go out of control like in Egypt and India.
Junaid bhai, I have been regularly watching you for many years now and I think it's the first time I'm disagreeing with your stance. I think scams are wrong whether they are in Pakistan or any other country for that matter. The fact that scams take place in Italy, Turkey or France does not justify scams in Pakistan. I think it's good that foreign vloggers highlighted this issue and authorities responded quickly. Yes, it's true that ordinary citizens do not get that kind of respons from authorities and that needs to change. But I'm happy that the scammers were publicly exposed. Hopefully it will help create awareness and deter scammers in the future.

Actually they both were scammed in a random vlogging that's why they uploaded.
But yes you are right that we should not highlight these scams much otherwise it will have a bad image of our country

I will respectfully disgree with you on the scam thing. Pick pocketing or mugging is another thing and scamming is another and you cant justify scamming. They both promoted the positive image of the Pakistan 99 percent of the time even Dale also vlogged some of the scams in the India.
Our problem is we dont accept reality and call some "negitive" for being realistic.

In general these sort of things are hide yet rectified but we only love to spoil our reputation by sharing because we strongly beleive sharing is caring. Just look at the PIA license case, media badly damaged our reputation by sharing that again and again.

Respectfully disagree with you. While it's true that scams happen everywhere, including in Mecca and Medina. But the criminal-violent nature of scams that happen with such frequency in Pakistan do not take place anywhere else in the world. Can you share a video where a similar scam took place with a tourist in Europe or America or Canada where the scammer knew that he was being recorded at all times, yet took the tourist against tourist's will to a secluded area and repeatedly threatened ? I used to take college students on tours to Northern Areas in Pakistan, and know how dangerous and widespread such criminal-violent gangs are in Pakistan. We should not fool tourists by selling the manjhan of "hospitality".
