Security is main concern. This mobile snatching is very common there(karachi). My khala’s jewellery was snatched on gunpoint and it scared me. I am so affraid to even take my mobile with me.

Almost speaking the mind of the mildly fortunate amongst the higher middle classes in India /Pak/BD..who travel to EU/US/APAC predominantly for work and a bit for recreation + leisure.
Its so very important to educate our people with such types of videos and expose them to what constitutes a proper civic soceity. Someone rightly said that religion is the opium of the masses, Its so easy for our politicians to embroil our masses in Jai-Shri-RAAM, Allah-u-Akbar, rather than give them decent, safe localities to stay and be productive.
This is the main reason why very little INNOVATIONS flow from this region, as we are busy navigating potholes, overflowing trenches, stray dogs, broken bridges wirh dark unlit, unsafe back-alleys, rather than channel our energies into creative issues,
Some cities in India such as Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, Chennai, Hyderabad which have managed to provide a modicum of quality, safe, clean & stable life to its citizens have immediately seen huge returns, resulting in ITeS export revenues estimated at US$ 150 billion.
The booming IT industry in India..
Sometimes I think the whole of South Asia is genetically flawed in these matters, whether you consider Dhaka, Calcutta, Colombo Chennai, Delhi or maybe your Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad would be no different.
Even in the city of dreams - Mumbai, there are pockets of extreme squalth, filth & poverty (despite the MCGM being one of the richest municipal corporations in Asia, with an annual budget of INR 40,000 crores (USD 5 billion), unbelievable but true.
Fortunately, Pune in Western India - Maharastra /Gujarat States are some of the more enlightened places) and are largely clean and organised, but things could be much much better, if only these 5 Billion uncle sams could be used to the fullest & politicians +corporators +civic officials don't palm away much of it.
Unfortunately, corruption is a bane & seems to be ingrained deep into the South Asian gene pool & psyche.
Is probably that 900 years of foreign occupation (Afghans, Turks, Tajiks, British, Portuguese, French), where 'bakshees' waa a way of life, pleasing the masters, rather than do quality work for the sake of work.
Just hop over to adjoining Bhutan, and an entirely different scene emerges , that's probably becoz they are part of the Mongloid gene pool, which seems to naturally practice orderliness & cleanliness, resulting in the spick and span cities that one sees in much of APAC & South East Asia.
Having seen a bit of rural China, where things can get quite gross, but never to the levels you see here.

Cleanest city in India is Indore. Even Bhopal is quite clean. Some villages in North East are quite clean too.

In Pakistan, there are no parks, no footpaths. Whenever I come to Pakistan when I go to shops to get basics. I have this fear that someone will hit and run.
Islamabad has so many Parks but I can't find public in parks apart from foreigners.

I start living in Hamburg Germany in 2019nand I started feeling the way you do. Sach mai bohat dukh hota hai. Hamare log kafriron ki achaiyan bh accept krne se guzair krte han this I found out when I was at a mosque on a jummah during my holidays in Karachi, the cleric was saying that "people go to west and they start praising it should leave Pakistan and live there ".

First of i do miss london and uk for its amazing performence and productivity and rights of people on roads and streets, the dilema is we as a nation havnt learn anything in 74 years which made us a failed state, i think comparing karachi to london is maybe not right or equal compare karachi to any asian or arab city that would be ligit maybe with tehran,tashkant,masqat,dammam,jeddah,ciro etc and after the comparision we will still be behind those cities ! A private company picks up garbage in our neighborhood for just Rs.200 monthly. Many people are taking advantage of this facility but an empty plot in our street has been turned into a garbage dump by the residents around it for the last eight years. I made a special request the day before yesterday and picked up the garbage from there with the help of ten trolleys, but I witnessed them still throwing garbage there today!
When will such people want to change the system which is bent on making rubbish bins instead of planting one or two trees or grass in every empty space?
You pay tax listed on wrappers of every single item you buy, that money goes to government to collect that garbage from you and dispose it. You don't have to pay anyone else anymore, that's how is done in those countries.

I live in London and love visiting this specific area every now and then. I agree with everything you mentioned, but also the fact that our awaam is - sorry for the word - jaahil. We are morally and ethically corrupt. Agar yeh sab de bhi dain tou aaj bhi kachra dustbin k andar nahi saath main phekain gai. UK ki awaam ka level alag hai. We cannot reach this level till the education at primary level teaches basic cleanliness and civic norms. Kachra phekna, badmaashi, rishwat lene wala ameer aadmi and all shall also be punished by and within the society. We need to stop being ghulam of someone with money and call out the wrong deeds of the rishwat khors.

Safai nism imaan hai, But just look how much clean the roads of London are. We don't care about environment. Without quality public transport, our roads are occupied by bikes and private vehicles. How much roads will we expand to accommodate increasing vehicles and traffic flow? we have hardly any walkable paths along the roads.
How can we improve our situation:
1: increase literacy rate to 100%.
2. elect only loyal and corruption-free leaders no other.
3. Start more and more money-making and transfer of technology projects with other countries.
4. Invest in Research and development.
And get rid of molvis specially those who are ruling us
