- ello ma loves, in todays video i decided to head on over to depop and lowball some rare Brandy Melville sellers and see what reaction it got! This video was made as a joke and not made to expose any one or spread any type of negative light against these depop sellers! i just did this for the fun of it and to make an entertaining video :)

Just today I found a blouse from the 1950s in a thrift store for about a dollar. I know that type of style isn’t “trendy” like y2k and brandy but it is true vintage. Too many girls think secondhand equals vintage which equals rare. It’s either ignorance or low key trying to get one over people who don’t know better and I hate it. Don’t even get me started on looking for actual vintage online these days and how hard it is cuz the words just a buzz word at this point
It annoys so much when peoole will slend £40 on am item amd call it vintage when me going to charity shops and kilo sells is more likely real vintage and i can get like 8-10 things for that price

There's a girl I know who is buying stuff off of depop for like £5 and reselling it for 30 which completely defeats the purpose of depop. It's one thing to source your stock from charity shops and thrift stores that may not reach the same demographic as selling it on depop. But buying something on depop to resell it for me just seems wrong, especially for people who don't have a lot of money and could've got the same item for cheaper.
Yess, I always check their buyer reviews tho Cos it’ll tell you what they’ve bought and how much it was so then you can see if they’re scamming you

@@marim5530 aleyzard made the account when I was younger and depop had just started, can't change it and too lazy to make a new account since I somehow had a lot of followers on it. I just started :^) I have more things I need to post up. I try to keep things relatively cheap, most expensive thing I have is 2000 red gogo shoes for 50 but it's free shipping. Most of it is 30 dollars and less. ♡
122 hk dollar is 14 euros, so that was actually a pretty reasonable price

Tbh , I’ve never sold my clothes I’ve always given them to charity shops so the idea of charging more for a top you’ve already worn baffles me 😂
It's called a finder's fee and also shipping and handling. But no you're right.
Yeah, but a lot of places that take donations end up putting some of what they get into landfills, so selling clothes directly to a person makes sure that that doesn't happen. The issue is when people charge too much for their worn clothes since lower income people can't afford it. Also not everyone has access to the internet and all of that. My point is that there is an ethical side to selling old clothes since it ensures that it doesn't go into a landfill. Not saying all places that take donations do that, but still
