My ranking and opinions on things may change in the future as I play with different controllers (May have made a few mistakes lol). Like I would probably move PS4 lower and Xbox 360 and One higher, may have been too harsh on N64. Though I love all gaming controllers :) 🎮
When you said "I only have one thing to say GTA6" I could tell you are young, so you don't know too much about each controller. I know that it's your opinion but I can tell you never played with most of these controllers. Much less know what features they had. Like the PS2 and OG Xbox controllers had pressure sensitive buttons. Not even the PS5 controller has that!
Putting the Switch Pro controller, the GameCube controller, the Xbox 360, and Xbox One controller outside of the top 2 tiers is just criminal. The DualSense is the best controller, Xbox One behind it, followed by Switch Pro, then GameCube, then Xbox 360 (because of the battery pack bringing it down since it didn’t work the best) the SNES controller is next.
all PlayStation controllers are fundamentally the same (which is a strength, not a weakness). They should ALL be standing next to each other on ONE rank.
The Wii U gamepad is one of the worst things ever made. Most games don’t take advantage of it so its already better to just use a Pro Controller or standard Wii Remote. While it is quite comfortable considering the size, it is incredibly pointless barring very few exceptions. It also contributed to the identity crisis the Wii U faced. People may not even realize it, but when the Wii U was announced a large amount of consumers believed it was just an add on for the original Wii much like the “Udraw”. A lot of the blame is on the marketing but the Gamepad just sucks in every metric possible. Other than that this list is pretty safe. I would say the Xbox products are not well ranked. Personally I believe the Xbox One controller is worse than the 360 and the Original Xbox Model S controller. But hey nice list.
Very solid argument for the gamepad and Wii U. the PS4’s touchpad could’ve also gone with a little more use as well but it’s a nice feature to have when it’s not just an extra button, and much less of a burden to the consoles identity. I can also see what you mean for the Xbox. Thank you
I'm sorry but all the playstation controllers are the least ergonomic carpal tunnel syndrome inducing device designed for tiny Japanese hands IF THAT. They are so trash its unbelievable. The way you're meant to hold them, you end up firing a gun or controlling the gas in your car with your middle finger, which is monumentally dumb. Nobody fures a rifle with their middle finger. So everyone holds the ps4 controller like an xbox controller which the grips arent even designed for so now the entire weight of the thing is held up by the meat of your hand leading to your pinky finger. Most PS fans I talk to who arent in the late stages of stockholm syndrome will readily agree that their design is bad and they'd gladly use an xbox controller. And ill go on, the flat buttons are an aesthetic decision that negatively affects how well new gamers can find the right buttons, the D pad being on the top left requires your entire hand position to move awkwardly to access because your left thumb needs to bend weirdly up and to the left, it and you can't use your right hands thumb to use it like you can on xbox because the left and right sticks are blocking access. Also the thumsticks are in a dumb position and to compensate you have to have a protruding bump in the middle to be able to manipulate it properly rather than having a concave shape for your thumb to fit into nicely. Also they're too damn small, and the ps4 controller is weirdly wide feeling with the dual sense thing in the middle making it even more difficult to do cross grip button presses. Its just a fundamentally bad design and is an ergonomic nightmare hence why every novel controller concept is typically an xbox-like layout and why every PC gamer is more than happy to stick with the xbox remote software aside. The reason it will never get better is because its a symbol of Playstation and it would be an embarrassment, or dishonorable, or an admittance of failure to switch to a more xbox like comfortable design. That type of thing is very important in japanese business. Its all about optics and everything is a psychological battle. And also the internal rechargeable battery concept is really fucking stupid if you think about it for more than 12 seconds. I can have 50 charged batteries that I just bought from a local supermarket all charged and ready to go the second any controller gets low and it'll accept any source of usb for power if I want it as a wired controller with no batteries making it lighter. A ps4 controller needs to be plugged into the console to charge, battery will inevitably wear out, and the charge through a wall outlet is really finicky and doesn't charge the controller with most of my USB cords. So if you have a dead PS4 controller and dont have another controller lying around in most situations you'll just have to charge it up to be able to play again. Which happens all the god damn time if you're an inconsistent player.

never cook again
Never let this man again in the kitchen, 360 controller on "funko pop"😭
My all time favorite controller is the Stadia controller, say what you want about stadia but damn is that controller nice.
I should’ve included it

That’s a pretty good ranking ngl but I had all of those except 360 in the top 2 tiers. Though I do agree 360 should’ve been higher

Ouya controller is top tier, too...
...
;D
I don't know if I could put the Xbox controller above the switch Pro, but fun video nonetheless.
when you didn't put the xbox controller at the top you already lost me. (I'm saying this as an avid Playstation user since 2007)
That's fair, I think if I filmed it now i would move Xbox to the top. Awesome controller
"GTA 6"
ps4 is too small
